J-Kidd will be 39 in two months. This is most likely his last season and rightfully should be because Kidd has contributed so much to the NBA that only a few can be mentioned in the same category as him

He is having terrible career lows due to "father time"

4 points a game

.273 field goal .255 3pointers 5 assists per game

________________

Jason Kidd's Milestones:

-Second In ALL Time Assists

- Second In ALL TIME STEALS (his actually third but needs only 14 to take over Jordan for second)

-Third ALL TIme 3 Pointer FIeld Goals Made

-105 TRIPLE DOUBLES (or more)

- 1 NBA Championship

- 10 Time All Star

He should just retire right now. He is doing nothing to help the Mavs win.

He will be 39, but how do you know this is most likely his last season? Do you have a reputable source? Grant Hill is 39 and there's no signs this will be his last season. So I don't know where you are getting your info from outside of the fact that he is going to be 39.

Dirk's struggling this year as well. The whole team isn't playing as well as everybody thought. A couple months ago Kidd was the guy that played the great D on D-Wade so I wouldn't say it's time to call it quits on career like his after a couple games this early in the season.

I don't know if it's last, but Kidd has been one of my favorite players. I'll miss him big time but he knows when to hang it up

Kidd says he wants to play until he's 40 or two more seasons. His impact has declined quite a bit from just last season, mostly his slightly slower decision making and his shot has vanished. The Mavs did win all 4 games he sat out earlier this season. He's technically the only PURE point on the Dallas roster, which easily will keep him in the starting lineup.

Guy has had a remarkable career though and last year all but completed the puzzle.

Love Kidd my favorite player of my generation by far.

He actually said he'd love to back up D-Will when he pairs up with Dwight in Brooklyn so I have a feeling he's still gonna be around for at least 1 more year. He is also coming off a very good year where he helped lead DAL to a ring.

What he actually said was that he would love to back up Deron Williams in WHEREVER Deron decides to play and that he would be open to a return to the Nets when they are in Brooklyn and that he would be honored if they decide to retire his jersey.
