All it takes is for their shooters to get hot. Though it's hard to imagine them doing that on a 3rd of a back-to back-to back.

And Deng is definitely not playing. Looks like the injury might serious as in a few weeks to a month.

I have a feeling Rose will play though, so this team should still win. And maybe Thibs can finally trust Brewer, Korver and even Butler at the sf spot.

Actually a little bit nervous about the Sixers game. First two centers (Hawes and Vucevic) are out and Brand is playing through a pretty bad stomach bug. Front court depth will be an issue against Washington's bigs.

It's amazing how many times he was passed on and forced to be an assistant. We had to deal with Vinny ****ing del Negro for 2 years instead of hiring Thibs right away.

kozelkid
01-23-2012, 10:08 PM
I do think there is a lot of similarity between Brown's offense back when he coached Philly and Bulls now. O-rating deceives both offenses' efficiency. Guys like AI and Rose would get a lot of shots and even if they didn't make them, a lot of them would lead to offensive rebounds and second chance points. Of course you have to have elite offensive rebounders like the Bulls have and Sixers had.

Brooks has a swollen Achilles, nothing big.

Deng is the serious issue, though.

Hurt his wrist against the Bobcats. Bulls are trying to keep it a hush-hush situation; we've heard anywhere from possibility of surgery to being able to play Friday. I'm not buying it. I think he'll be out a month.

If blazer fans think they will be getting another easy victory like last time they are absolutely dead wrong. The kings tend to win games after a day of rest and a day of rejuvenation, and yesterday we got just that. We are a completely different team now and if the blazers defense thinks they will have the same game of open layups they better realize the truth. I think cousins and tyreke will have great games and Jimmer will continue his hot shooting streak. If that happens I just don't see a possible way that the Trailblazers get a win here, Kings get their third win tonight on the road.

In other games news, Rubio makes some Magic passes. The look off bounce passes in between two defenders to the cutting man with proper spin; almost never see that anymore and he has 1 or 2 a night. Really, the main reason LeBron's FG% has skyrocketed is because his shot selection, mainly threes, has improved tremendously. Rose will learn eventually...especially if he doesn't continue to get better at it. Oh well, if that's the only complaint BUlls fans have of him, I think he's doing OK ;)

Pretty much. It's what I've been saying regarding Lebron. In the beginning of the season, he looked unstoppable when he refused to take the 3's. Fortunately (for the Bulls defense anyway, when we play him), he appears to have brought back. And while he has been hitting them atm, I expect that to go down to around his career consistent average of 32-33.

With Rose, I have no problem with him having the 3 ball as a weapon. If he's more selective, I think he can be 36-38% from there. The problem is that he's taking over 5 a game and idiotic moments. Hopefully he'll learn, because this year, he has been near flawless in all other department. Significantly improved his floor game and doesn't have to score every time he comes down anymore, which means more energy come postseason.

The only other issue is that he doesn't realize when he SHOULDN'T play through injury.

No...it's what happens when people dick-ride KD all the time and ignore how good Russy is...and how he should be looking to get his frequently.

Oh, and how integral he is to KD's success...

I love WestAnt, and they love eachother too!

I'm sure 2010-11 Luol Deng would tell you that.

No kidding. I've been hoping Thibs would correct him. Maybe he finally is.

My favorite stat nerd joke of all time: Beasley couldnt spell efficiency if you spotted him the "N-O L-O-N-G T-W-O-S"

Anderson has no points, and hasn't even played much. Stan has been hinting that Anderson's defense hasn't been good enough...maybe this game and mini-benching is an example being set.

Amazing defense from Boston. The Magic played like utter ****, but gotta give them some credit.

LeBron is 2nd in the league at Long Two attempts though, and he is making 41% which is good for there, but still.

I love them too. The media, and stupid fans, seem to think they should hate eachother.

I was sitting on the toilet at work (where I do my tweeting), say that Westy got an extension, and literally clapped my hands in excitement. I can't believe people were crying out for him to be traded. Fools...

Actually a little bit nervous about the Sixers game. First two centers (Hawes and Vucevic) are out and Brand is playing through a pretty bad stomach bug. Front court depth will be an issue against Washington's bigs.
