Which rookie has had the BIGGEST impact would be Irving keeping them near .500 with no other talent on the Cavs is amazing.

lol @ marhson Brooks not being on this poll but Iman Schumpert is. I think it's between Rubio, Brooks and Iriving. The Nets wouldn't have a win right now if Brooks weren't on this team I can say for sure.

Well you had two I's in big so I guess it was subliminally calling for rookies with two I's in there name, so those would be Kyrie, Rubio, Markieff Morris, Derrick Williams, Chris Singleton, Tobias Harris, Bismack, Isiah Thomas, Nikola Vucevic, Cory Higgins, Travis Leslie, Jordan Williams, and Chris Wright.

You made a rookie poll and MarShon Brooks isn't on it?

Clearly MarShon Brooks! The guy has carried this offense every game and with the absence of Lopez he is playing like a veteran out there.

Rubio no doubt. Why isnt Nic Vucevic from the Sixers or Brooks from the Nets on this list? Their impact has been greater than most of this list

To be fair, crooner, he's nit a xenophobe: he hates everyone. It's easierthan forming a defensable position.

Brooks doesn't deserve to be in the ROY race after shooting 6-17 and being completely embarrassed on both ends by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

How is it clearly and how has he carried the offense? He isn't Kobe Bryant or Lebron James he isn't carrying anything. He's scoring in bunches. Kyrie has done a way better job of leading the Cavs offense this season and helping them win because of it. He is also having a great impact on D just like Rubio.

As for the poll I'd say its close between Kyrie and Rubio but I'm giving the edge to Kyrie on this one. Unlike Rubio Kyrie is his team's best player and is doing a solid of leading them to a better record than mostly anyone expected of them.

The Wolves had a harder schedule though the first 10-12 games this year than they did last year and still won more games. The Wolves lost by a total of 12 points to the Heat, Thunder, and Bulls.

That is a HUGE impact.

There is only a need for 3 players on this list. Rubio, Irving, and Brooks.

It really is only between two guys, I agree, beasted.

Lets allow the other 2/3 of the year to play out before we call this one finalized.

I'd have to say Kyrie Irving. Here is why (http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/35846/irving-better-than-paul-lebron-as-rookie).

Irving has been very good, no doubt. I agree with Hawk when he says it doesn't really matter who is better, it's 1A vs 1B, both franchises have found their PG for years to come.

Still, though, you take a scorer and put nothing around him he's going to put up bigger numbers than he normally would.

I am impressed with his efficiency, though....

Marshon Brooks and Iman Shumpert have been the MOST SURPRISING IMACTS of all the rookies on their respective teams. (Although I knew all along that they both would be solid)

Kyrie Irving plays with less talent. I'll go with him.

It really is 1A vs 1B though.

I thought everyone said this rookie class was a joke?

It is pretty suprising how strong this class is early on. Keep in mind, though, it's still very early.

I expect the shooting percentages for Irving and/or Rubio to regress a bit as the season continues.

Irving, Brooks, Rubio, and even Cole have been impressive. But no love for Kawhi Leonard? He's been huge on the defensive and rebounding side already. He's made an immediate impact.

Honestly it's only between Rubio, Irving and Brooks. Kyrie is the best player on his team, so him.
