I have a trivia a day calender (for general trivia) and today's question inspired this topic.

I think its simple lets throw out interesting basketball trivia and have fun with this. I do have 1 request and only 1, the person that posts a trivia question verifies or gives a correct answer at some point after posting.

The question from the calender is:

What hoop legend was the only center to lead in ssists in National Basketball Association history? (it does not say but means in a season)

Correct Wilt the Stilt lead the league in assists in the 1967-68 season when he got 702 assists for the 76ers.

I have no idea the answer to your question.

Only three players have ever averaged at least two steals and two blocks for a season.

Hakeem Olajuwon
David Robinson

Name the third.

Hint: He's a current player.

I believe it is either Bobby Jones (Sixers) or Kevin McHale (Celtic) in the early 80's. I'll take the homer pick and say Bobby Jones

Great question

Basketball reference has Bobby Jones doing it in '76-'77

That's pretty interesting because this isn't my stat, I've just heard it a few times over the years.

If you use the player search function on Basketball Reference, it lists him as doing it in 75-76 while Denver was still in the ABA, but not 76-77 for some reason. I wonder why that is.
