I'm going upset and picking the Jazz over the Clips... this is a test for the Jazz who have had a good start.

Clippers + Rockets parlay. I wanna see if Rose is playing otherwise Suns at those odds are a smart bet.

Wow didn't realize the Clips were underdogs... hmm, this depends on CP3, he's traveling like Iodine said, but I wonder if he'll play

Actually I thought Jazz had a great chance IF CP3 is out, but then I saw Vegas was riding them too so I had to go with the Clippers especially given Chris is gametime decision.

No huge upset game. Maybe Suns but Vegas will definitely change the line if Rose is out.

Just noticed that both the Clippers and Magic are playing the 2nd game of their back-to-back-back

Yesterday:

Magic win on the road against Knicks
Clippers win at home against Nets

Today:

Magic host Bobcats
Clippers visit Jazz

Tomorrow:

Clippers host Mavs
Magic host Spurs

ManRam

The Magic's b2b2b isn't too awful.

They already beat the Knicks AT NY...the next two are now at home and are now against teams that will be on the second leg of their own b2bs...Definitely 3 winnable games, but even so, I doubt many/any teams win all three of their b2b2b this season.

Leonard has definitely shown he is more than capable of starting. He's already the best perimeter defender on the team IMO and our best rebounding wing player. I personally would bring RJ off the bench, but he is a mental midget and I think that would demoralize him.

But whatever works keep going with. Only thing if we bring Manu off the bench is we'd have a glut between Green/Neal at SG and one of them wouldn't get minutes. Though Neal hasn't played good really, Green probably deserves them.

That's true.. I do worry about RJ's mental ability to come off the bench. If Manu comes off the bench , He would have a big load to shoulder. It'll be interesting to see what Pop does. Leonard if he doesn't start Needs to see starter Mins

Boozer really seems to becoming consistent from mid range. I'm loving it. He certainly doesn't have the same explosion as he did in Utah to be an elite pick and roll player nor does he have the luxury of playing with a guy like Okur who gives him space. Hell, this medical experts (i.e. not me or any Heat fan here) who have assessed Wade's running and attacking style have come to the conclusion that his career would 3-5 years shorter than the typical NBA player.

In fact, when analyzing the different running styles of NBA players; they mentioned that Wade's was one of the worst and put the most stress on his legs (hence the number of lower extremity injuries he has been having lately). Whereas, Lebron graded out as one of the best (hence nearly no injuries in his career).

Not to mention, it doesn't help that Wade is a pretty horrid shooter.

I see nothing there that indicates Wade is a horrid shooter. On most seasons from most positions he was above league average for Guards. So if that makes him a horrid shooter then I guess the vast majority of the guards in the NBA are as well.

Dwyane Wade is one of the most fundamentally sound players in the game not just shooting guards. Once he can stay away from the injury bug he's going to age quite gracefully.

Oh and as to what you said about why would the Magic want Wade you seriously can't tell me that you'd prefer Brook Lopez over Dwayne Wade because of youth. Wade is the best player they'll ever stand at getting for Howard and is going to be the best 4 years down the road.

To say he has 1 1/2 more good years left in him is not looking at the entire picture.

Um, what exactly am I supposed to be looking at above there. What I see is Wade posting a higher TS% every year Rose has been in the league, with a higher usg% nearly every year, and a lower assisted rate 2/3. It's not like he's OLD. 30 is still in his prime. 33 and up isn't. Like Kobe, he's past his prime. I'm not saying he's not a great player but he can't jump as high as he used to, play D like he used to or even run as fast as he used to. Which is why he worked on his post game and mid range game. Wade on the other hand, still has no post game and his midrange game is nothing close to kobe's. Plus he's undersized at SG so what will he do in 3 years when he's not as athletic. Same goes with Lebron, but he's 27 so he's still got 5 prime years left. I'm not hating, just stating that father time is undefeated. . .which sucks. Otherwise we'd see a laker team of Magic, Kobe, Baylor, Gasol, Kareem, West, Wilt, Shaq, Mikan, Worhthy etc. . .which would be great. Haha.

Way to go out on a limb, the Clippers havent won at Utah in what, 100 years?

that's like us (Lakers) in Portland... just one of those cursed cities where we can't buy one. I think every team has one of those too. Clips should be fine.
