Nene has become a very consistent and dominant player, Gallinari has a fantastic feel for the game and improves each year. And of course Lawson has proved doubters wrong, leading a loaded roster at the point, and establishing himself as one of the fastest and most energetic players at the position. Any one of them could make the next step to all-star. Who makes it first?

I think it's between nene and Lawson gallinari plays an allstar heavy position and still needs more consistency. He also needs to find a move he can go to and score repeatedly

Voted Nene. Lawson will probably end up with the most All Star games, but Nene could potentially get in this year, while Lawson won't.

Lawson deserves to be an All-Star this year, Nene doesnt, but you are right lawson doesnt have the name yet so he probably wont get in, he might still come close though

Lawson is the man. he's like a Tony Parker that can shoot 3's.

Lawson has more of a shot than I thought, now that I've looked through it a bit more.

4 spots specifically for guards, and two wildcard spots.

Kobe, CP3, Westbrook make it. Who's after that? Manu and Gordon's chances are hurt by injuries. It's like Harden and/or Nash, with Lawson, Lowry, Monta, Martin, trailing. I don't think he makes it, but with those injuries he's closer than I thought. A little bit of hype and he could maybe get there. I feel like I'm forgetting people, though.

Gallinari easily.

Nene won't make it because there are already too many forwards and centers like Gasol, Bynum, Dirk, Duncan, Griffin and Love ahead of him.

Lawson won't get the nod because he lacks the notoriety of guards in the west like CP3, Nash, TP, etc. In fact, I think Kyle Lowry of Houston would make it over him.

Lawson is the third best point guard in the West. Only Chris Paul and Kyle Lowry are better than him.
