After watching the Celtics/bulls game I was hearing how the Celtics were getting "older" which got me thinking.

who do you think (throughout the entire league) will retire after this season?

But he needs to take a year and a half off and try to make it in other professional sport ( i guess soccer n his case) so his "impersonation" of that dude is perfect.

Very possible that Jason Kidd retires. He's missed like 20 games in the past decade and he has missed 4 in a row now. Age might be FINALLY catching up with J.Kidd. Good thing all he does scoring wise is shoot 3's. He can still pass the ball as good as anyone in the league.

Next you will see Nash/Stackhouse/Camby/Ray Allen/Duncan/KG/Billups retire within the next 2-3 seasons

Then in 3-5 seasons you will see Dirk/Kobe/Pierce/Carter/T-Mac/J. O'Neal retire, which is sad because it will be the end of any player who was drafted in the 90's and some of the best players to ever be drafted out of HS

Some player drafted in the 90s will be a bad *** and endure for more years for sure.

I mean take the typical Willis as example, player in the 80s 90s and even in the mid 00s :speechless:

if kareem had waited one more season he would have played in 4!!!!!! di ferent decades, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s

Those guys stayed in great shape though, never had injuries, you look at some of the great young players drafted in the 90's such as KG, JO, T-Mac all dealt with injuries and I dont see them playing more than 5 more seasons, some players are just lucky to have that longevity such as Kareem, Stockton, Malone, Parish, Willis, Miller, heck Look at Kidd today, I can also see Kobe playing for at least another 5 years

Duncan needs to retire, he's starting to embarass himself, unless he really is saving himself for the playoffs.

Also, Garnett needs to ride off into the sunset if the C's don't make the playoffs.

Tim Duncan needs to retire. His numbers are a joke! Give it one more good stretch and see how deep you can get into the playoffs. But this Tim Duncan we see now is nothing compared to the "best PF ever" Tim Duncan.

He'll be gone after this season, not three to five seasons from now.

I think he may just retire at the end of the season as you said, since he is in the last yr of his deal paying him $21 Mil.

Garnett is also in the last yr of his deal paying him $21 Mil. Boston isn't going anywhere with Pierce and Allen and JO rapidly aging, Rondo not looking like the PG of the future, and the uncertainty with Jeff Green, and last yr of Doc's contract I believe. KG should also retire.

Kurt Thomas isn't going to retire, he turned down the Bulls 1 year deal because he wanted a 2 year deal which he got from Portland and the Bulls didn't wanna go 2 years.
