I know he is is on the Bobcats, who virtually has no real center, but he actually has done very well so far. When he was on OKC, I thought he must of been one of the worst players in the league, averaging 1 and 1 his first 2 years.

Since being traded he is averaging 11 and 5, in about 19mpg, 50% from the field, and 95% FTs.

Obviously we have a long way too go in the season, but this guy should be in the talk for MIP if he continues.

He has been a really nice surprise. It's still early for me to really have MIP contenders, but I am loving him so far.

WHO WANTS LESS OF A BJ?

Guys like Kyle Lowry, Ryan Anderson, and Ty Lawson definitely have to be over him..

But it's still very early.

DJ White and BJ Mullens have been nice pickups for the Bobcats, probably should have gotten more of a chance on OKC. You wonder if maybe the same will happen with Cole Aldrich in the near future.

I hope he gets consideration. It's turning into a steal for Charlotte for sure.

We got him for just a 2nd round pick too. His jumper is money. His D needs alot of work, and he could hit the boards some more, but he has looked good so far this year

Lowry's numbers aren't really that much better than last year.

Scoring is up .5
Assists are up 3.0
Rebounds are up 2.8

Not saying Mullens should get it, but Lowry was pretty good last year.

That's actually a lot. Also his steals are up, he's an elite defender, and his scoring will be up higher when he starts looking for his shot.

For ****s sake he's 22....always felt like the MIP should go to a player who been in the league for a few years and then breaks out of nowhere. Like guys like Harden shouldn't even be in the discussion, that's why Lowry is my fav candidate so far

What makes you think that? they have 2 totally different styles. Brooks only dipped when he got hurt and Lowry started balling.

Umm no...Lowry is a way better distributor and is a bulldog on defense and rebounding, something Aaron never did.
