I think he's better with Dallas then he was with the suns and magic but there's no way he's as good as when he was with Toronto and new jersey.

I just said he's not as good as when he was I Toronto or new jersey but he's better than he was in recent years.

He's shooting 36% from the field and 35% from 3 and his season high is 14. I know is his minutes are down a little bit, but no he's still on the decline from his old self.

Lol I think the OP means he's back to his old lazy self that he was in Orlando & Phoenix, not the old self that was with New Jersey.

His numbers aren't really telling of his performance this far. He's had a couple very good games and the rest were games where he was a non factor.

He is nowhere close to prime Vince

The answer is NO.

Vince hasn't even been good this year...not even better than he was with PHX or Orlando (terrible). Not sure what the reasoning for thinking he might be back to his "old self" is...

As silly as his recent threads have been, the OP has already pointed out that, yes, he is a kid. So, keep that in mind when responding and taunting/mocking him.

And Vince Carter still blows.

the things is his stats dont suggest that he is playing better then when he was in orlando or phx.

he is older now and lost alot of his explosiveness and his shot hasnt been spectacular. he is going to have a nice game for dallas here and there but he wont ever regain his old form bro.

If he's old enough to go on the internet, he's old enough to face mockery.

lol the saddest thing about vince (and OP's argument) is that he does still have a spring in his step. he's just so checked-out it doesn't even matter.

dude has avoided the injuries all of his peers have suffered through and has aged the worst. i'll always love the guy's game in his prime but its become pretty pathetic.

Clearly none of you idiots have watched the Mavs play. Carlisle called him Dallas' energy player. He hustles, dives for loose balls and makes clutch plays. Go watch the team play before you tools make non-sensical posts.

Are you entirely positive that Rick Carlisle is watching the Mavs play this year?

that would explain the record.

Vince Carter is still in decline. He is shooting .362 on the floor this year and is averaging 8.9 PPG. I do not think he would do that in his prime.
