If the Heat were to offer Lebron to the OKC Thunder for Durant, would the Thunder accept the deal?

no
Both teams would ruin their chemistry and Lebron is hated everywhere else
Wade and Lebron works because neither are selfish, whereas pairing Westbrook with a ballhog in Lebron (ballhog isn't meant to be offensive in this case) would be hard for Westbrook to adjust to. Durant is very good at scoring off the pass whereas Lebron creates better for himself.

no because it would send the wrong message. even though at this point in their careers lebron is better, OKC would not accept it.

no because even though lebron would be an upgrade talent wise it wouldn't be a large enough upgrade to justify the move, since it would be a pr nightmare

It's not that big of an upgrade imo to make that move.

I was thinking the other day lets say Heat somehow lose again this season and LeBron explodes causing a rift between him and Wade/Riley or some ****.

Would a package of:

LeBron James, Mario Chalmers and Joel Anthony for George Hill, Danny granger, Roy Hibbert make sense for both side?

Pacers:

Collison
George
LeBron
Psycho T/West
Joel Anthony

Heat:
Cole/Hill
Wade
Granger
Bosh
Hibbert

No they shouldn't. Arguably 1 and 2 at the SF position, the risk of trading and disrupting chemistry just isn't worth it.

It's a dumbass trade and would mess up the chemistry on both teams! You are practically trading for the same damn player lol.

Dang, I said yes....but then they'd def. have to trade Westbrook for sure

If I was OKC I'd accept unless I had a deal in the works for Westbrook. Lebron and Wade work in the same way that Lebron and Westbrook would work. Currently you have a clear problem between Durant and Westbrook and the only obvious solution is to trade one of the two away. If I were OKC I'd try to deal Westbrook first for a great pass-first point guard like Rondo or CP3 (those are just examples not necessarily proposed trades).

If I couldn't find anything like that, though, I'd definitely take Lebron for Durant. Lebron would pass to Westbrook enough to keep him happy (we all know LBJ likes to play for assists) and the defense on Lebron would make more opportunities for Westbrook to score. For example, imagine if the Bulls had a REAL second option. What's more the new OKC defense from Lebron would create fastbreaks that Westbrook would love. It'd be almost exactly like Wade/Lebron.

To the person who proposed the Pacers/Heat trade, that makes no sense on face value at all.

The Thunder would be ******** not to accept that trade.

The HEAT would be ******** to offer that trade.

Paul George is 6'10".

Lebron would just leave FA or request a trade if that trade word to happen

If the Thunder had Lebron they could only compete for the first 3 quarters of the game.

Durant will eventually be better than Queen(if he isn't already) and Lebron does not fit the mold of OKC. What they should do is trade Westbrook and Perkins for Dwight.

Durant will never be as impactful as LeBron has been.

No... Even though Lebron is better than Durant probably ever will be, it would be a slap in the face to all of the OKC fans.

Neither team would be interested. LeBron is the better player, but that doesn't mean it's worth it. It isn't worth it...for either team.

Speculating is fun, but what's the point here? It would never happen...is there a deeper issue you're trying to uncover?
