Which player, who scores around 20 ppg, has the quietest scoring games to you?

I don't know about this year, but a few times when watching the Pacers I don't know where Danny Granger's points came from.

Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Marcus Thorton are three that pop up to me.

Kevin Martin and Luis Scola.

Might as well throw Lowry into that as well now.

The Rockets have three absolute STUDS.

I love that the Rockets are getting love here, but I think Martin is by far the best candidate on the team.

Danny Granger is the best, most well rounded 20+ scorer that is always ignored. Case and point, only 1 person has mentioned him so far. Unbelievable.

Maybe has something to do with the fact that his team has gone nowhere during his career.

Big Al Jefferson. I still think he hurts the Jazz more than he helps them, but he still puts up like 20-10

Kevin Martin has been included in almost every trade rumor before he was traded. Joe Johnson is getting paid like a superstar...not exactly quiet.

I am gonna homer it and agree. He was one of the top 5 scorers in the entire league at one point and no one even noticed. His scoring has definitely dropped, but I watch every Pacer game and he always ends up having 15-20 and I never notice till the end of the game.

This season Ryan Anderson lol...

how are people saying martin? he does that every year, and deng is right on par with what he normally provides.

lou will, ryan anderson, and thornton should be the only answers

Pierce or Kevin Love

Pierce....really?

harlequin018

LaMarcus Aldridge. If you watch a Trail Blazers game, there's nothing quiet about him, he absolutely dominates on the floor. Some of the best post moves in the game, and he has great range too. I think he's quiet because noone knows how good he is.

NetsPaint

Surprised that Thornton is a quiet scorer to people. He's pretty explosive and exciting.

BranWingss
01-04-2012, 04:43 AM
Kevin Martin and Marcus Thornton. These guys are such great scorers, and never get the deserved credit.

Chi StateOfMind

I'd say Kevin Martin as well and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Monta Ellis. When was the last time you saw ESPN talking about him? Ever see Nike ads on him? Actually that's because Nike never gave him any consideration. And 1 did. Ever see an All Star appearance by him? No. Rookie vs Soph game doesn't count.

Quietest 20 points.

Strarter: Kevin Love - I list him because if I where to list the top scores and point getters in the game I would always forget him but if you asked me who the biggest threat for a 30 - 20 or 20 - 20 game was I'd name him. On a normal basis I don't think about how much he scores

Bench: Lou Williams - I think most people know that he is a bench player and can score but I don't think people realize he's averaging 20.3 off the bench in 29 minutes and that he has historically been a bench player more then capable of 20+.

KMart and Scola both go unnoticed often but are great scorers...

bovice163
01-04-2012, 04:23 PM
KMart is the first name that comes to mind. Then I'd say Marcus Thornton or EGor. I know Gordon is injured, but he's a very talented scorer with upside, and a lot of people seem to forget about him.

Lou Williams and Monta Ellis. But Lou plays way less so he is way more impressive.

CaptainClutch
01-04-2012, 05:35 PM
Kevin Martin definitely. I do follow him a bit more now cause his name came up in the CP3 original proposal to LA, but he still is a pretty quiet scorer that can score in bunches
