lol. It was found out later that it was just fat and tissues, not his bone...lol. They said its a lacerated index finger or something, does that mean its broken? He said he will play tonight, or should play.

I've broken both ankles, my wrist, tailbone, ribs, sprained my MCL, and the most pain I ever had was when I broke my index finger while in the cages during highschool baseball practice. I broke it in five places and it swelled to about 2 inches in thickness. For all those making fun of him, all I got to say is break your finger and re-comment.

How long is he out for?

I dislocated my finger last year playing football, bone ripped through the skin, and tore quite a few ligaments in the process... Took like 3-4 months to heal enough for me to start playing sports again.

It's very odd, because I broke my finger playing basketball almost the exact same way about 2 months ago. It really ****ing sucks. I had to get surgery and there was a pin inserted in my left index finger for 4 weeks. I have to go to physical therapy twice a week for another month, and the doctor said it won't fully heal for another month or so. If he fractured it as badly as I did, it could be 3 months. If it's not as severe, maybe like 6 weeks...not sure though. It sure does hurt though when it happens.

Damn, that sucks. As long as he didn't tear any tendons, he'll be fine though.
