I've yet to see a reason why Durant can't do it again.

I could see any of Blake, KD, Lebron or Melo taking it down. Odds on KD followed closely by BG.

Kevin Durant by .3 points, because it doesnt really matter.

Its going to be between Lebron and Durant. too close to call.

I think Lebron's ppg will go up because their offence is more fluid now and they are running more. but if heat blow out teams like they did today, it will hurt his chances.

Durant can win it will depend on westbrook and harden. Will westbrook look for his shot like he did in the playoffs? How much more of the offence load will Harden take on?

Durant is a scoring machine. He will win it for the third time in a row.

Honestly a guy like Dwight should be able to. I mean Shaq and David Robinson were able to lead the league in scoring.

If Dwight led the league in scoring he would probably the greatest player to ever play. He's more known for his defense and presence in the paint.

Durant imo.

I do want to add, Love is 5th and looks even better this season, so he should at least be an option, though I do get scoring reputation is being used here, and I am fine with that.

No way dude. David Robinson led the league in scoring and was a better defender than Dwight. Only reason Dwight looks dominant is because there aren't any dominant centers anymore. Hell David Robinson was at best the 3rd best player of his era and this with the ability to led the league in scoring, PER and blocks.

he wasn't much worse and he was far better at everything on offense. The Admiral is one of the more underrated centers of all time for some reason. My guess? Hakeem punking him a couple of times, and the fact that his only ring came when Duncan came along. But he is easily a top 5-7 center ever, where as Dwight may never enter that area.

Hawkeye15

remember as well, Dwight doesn't have to guard Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing, Shaq, Zo, and the beasts Robinson had to guard. Dwight doesn't face anywhere near the competition as a counterpart as the great centers of the 60's-90's did.

partially. His per 36 ppg are the same as last year, but he is playing a couple minutes less.

haha, he's not iverson, dolfan.

kobes @ 29.5 on 23.7 fga. that's 1.24 points per fga. not great, but not worthy heckling him over either.

I'm gonna say Durant. LeBron's leading right now, but I think once Wade is fully healthy his points will dip slightly. And Durant is bound to have some monster games soon where he increases his season average.

The homer in me wants to say Melo, but he has to contend with numerous scoring threats such as Jared Jeffries, Mike Bibby, Josh Harrelson, Bill Walker, Landry Fields, and Renaldo Balkman. No one else on the list has that much talent around them.

Kobe Bryant. Mike Brown has diverted away from the triangle offense run by the great Phil Jackson and now has the ability to do a ton of iso situations. The guy dropped 48 last night. I expect a resurgent Kobe

JB why are you going back to all of the old threads and bringing them back now? It's not deep enough into the season to be doing this.
