So, when is he going to take action...

I hope he wins it and I am pulling for him all the way, but he needs to get more than 12 minutes per game to show his stuff. Hopefully MJ will give him enough opportunity to try and make a statement for the "rookie of the year" honors.

yeah mark jackson hyped him up way too much. he put too much pressure on his team and the young rookie. he may regret this if the dubz start losing.

my prediction about rookie of the year is going to be Kawhi Leonard or Jimmer Fredette

yeah, I dont know if losing games will be on klay thompsons shoulders. just like I dont attribute any of the teams wins to the drsfting a of klay thompson.

LOL at this rate though unless he drastically improves, if thompson is even considered for either of the all rookie teams... it will prove that this draft class was even weaker than I originally thought.

Stylez, if your logic is at all plausible, that means the ROTY should be up for grabs to anybody

I suppose, but if rush is playing the way he is, and the team wants defense. Klay thompson's situation isnt ideal right now.... but maybe its better not to put a lot of pressure on him right away.

My biggest concern with thompson is that he doesnt look like he wants to be the best player on the floor. He looks like he is afraid of messing up out there.... maybe early season jitters.... or maybe it's just his demeaner. I don't know if he lacks confidence, but he appears to be in over his head out there.

Sad to say but he looks as soft as a pillow, the guy is the complete opposite of what this team is turning into, I hope that he gains some confidence and muscle cause he looks like he's scared to be out there, I didn't think anyone could look softer than steph his rookie season but Klay looks scared shitless.

Noticed this too. I'm hoping it's early season jitters.

Don't think so.

Well, if were playing well, and Thompson isnt in the rotation, then there's nothing you can really do about that.

I do think running him maybe 10 minutes a game so he can shake off the jitters and rust is a good idea though.

hopefully he plays good while montas gone, but i dont see him getting roty. norris cole's playing pretty good if the heat lets him play his style.

I think Ellis being out will get him more playing time and the only way to get rid of that scared attitude he has right now or early jitters or whatever is playing time. Which is good the more time on the court the more comfortable he gets so he can b who we drafted. Which I hope he does I want him to succeed and b a beast on this team.
I think it will b hard to win without Ellis of course I thought it would b hard to win without curry and we won. So I hope and pray for Ellis and his family.
I want Thompson to get it going tomorrow and come up big for us.

I guess we'll find out tonight against Philly if Klay should even be considered in the running. I expect him to have a breakout evening :D
