Call me crazy but with the shorten season and everything kinda getting thrown together. Most of these rookies have been thrown in sink or swim situations and it appears it's working. I haven't saw one first round draft pick play horrible yet. Granted everyone was proclaiming this draft a weak one. Anyone else pleasantly surprised by it?

I think....

Cole
Brooks
Knight
Walker
Biyombo
Kylie
Willams
Inman
Kanter
jimmer
Morris
Thompson
Rubio

Have all looked Good.

Who you guys got and what do you think about this rookie class. feel free to homer up your on rookies. I wanna hear more about them.

Markieff morris dark horse candidate for ROY he eats board after board after board and is playing solid D. Can shoot the 3 and bacls down players. The day he starts for the suns which can be very soon he will average about 12ppg 11rbg 2bs and close to 40% from 3

Yea he is gonna be a great all around player. Do you want you guys to pick up Redd?

Kawhi Leonard is rebounding the ball very well and defends the wing. Only 2 games and 17MPG but he's averaging 7 boards and really hustles to cause turnovers. Not much offensively, but as long as he can start hitting that corner 3 consistently that's all we need.

I do just to see what nash can do with him, i mean remember j-rich he was lethal as a catch and shoot player. But like ibposted on other threads im giving our FO one last chance with 2012 offseason we only have 30mill committed which means we have 28mill free plus our amnesty which is good for 2 max contracts. So if we dont do anything big by that time then im just not going to care, ill watch and support as always but wont care.

Standard class imo if not a little below average. Rubio helps juice it up with an extra lottery talent.

I know Irving isn't really a dark horse for ROY, since he was the 1st pick, but he looks real good. Not the greatest shooter, but I see some Chris Paul in him.

Marshon Brooks has good length, handle, above average athleticism, and a sweet touch. He needs work on his defensive positioning but he has the tools to defend, with his long arms. His body is not there yet as he has a wiry frame and is getting muscled around on defense and on his drives in the lane. If he can put on about ten pounds he'll do much better with contact in the lane and be a better defender.

For a late pick in the 1st round he's looking like a guy that's gonna be around for awhile. Good pick by the Nets.

Yea, he was making some sick passes to Jamison. I like his game think he will really break out about mid season.

I've been saying this since before the draft. The guy got no respect because he doesn't possess the elite athleticism like Wall or Rose do. But coming out of HS, he had a higher b-ball IQ, better shooting ability than either Wall or Rose, along with probably Deron and Paul. This kid will be a baller. The Paul comparisons are in no way far fetched.

Knight has been great - Rubio has been good - Williams has been bad.

Two games in, granted.

I agree no real superstars maybe a couple stars maybe, but a lot of pretty good players who should stick around for a while.Next years class is NICE!

It's way too early, and although there have been some strong performances by some rookies, not all have looked good. Marcus Morris looked horrible in his first regular season game. In the preseason, he had one atrocious game and one solid game where he showed some flashes as a scorer. But he fouls way too much and his defense has just been bad. I'm hoping he improves over the season, but I have not been all that pleased thus far...

Irving will be a great player in this league, has flashes of chris paul brilliance already and this is only his second game and plus he can shoot. Sky high potential. Brandon Knight does seem like he will be a good scorer in this league but doesn't seem like he will be any better then a ben gordon, don't see any defensive ability like many other people do. Really like iman shumpert, seems very nba ready already, too bad he is injured. Same with norris cole, great mentality
