I really hope this works out. I'll always remember that three Greivis hit to force the 2OT in the OKC series.

I guess this goes to show how much the ownership and coaching staff have in Jeremy Pargo and Josh Selby to become backup pg's. I liked Pondexter in college, so hopefully this works out. Suprised no backup bigs acquired?

They must be planning on keeping Haddadi ..............Remember when we had FOUR 7 footers ???!!!!!

Looks like the NOH fans are eager for Vasquez but reluctant to say goodbye to Q-pon. Like the name............

was hoping Marreese Speights name was in this trade. Something has to give, we now have way too many sg/sf's...look for another trade soon.

Sad to let Vasquez go. They should have included Jason Smith in the trade coz looks to me it's the Hornets who wanted most of this trade. I'm sure they'll let the guy go now that they have Kaman on board. We could have had instantly the backup big we needed and then start focusing on the games without further roster movements.

Personally to me we have an undersize 2nd unit. I'd rather pull the Speights trade than this one but hopefully this will work for us.

Anyone know how much we would have to pay Davis or Skinner if they are kept?

not sure but i would assume vets minimum

After a few games, i'm not so sure i like this trade. I'll hold off for now though, as Pondexter is still learning the offense and his role. It just seems like Vasquez brought a "fire" to the game and he could shoot the three ball. Now with Conley out, (hopefully just for a game or two) we really need another guy who can run the point effectively. Not to mention Vasquez could play the 2 postition. I just hope Q-pon proves us wrong!!!

Greivis is really having a good year in NOLA. He's probably the best passer on the team and a lot of people have been calling for him to start over Jarrett Jack because the offense just flows better with him in the game.

6 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal per game.

Yeah Grieves is a excellent player. Glad to see he has transitioned well
