Weird enough they share an arena as it is.

I always wondered why they don't have their own. Would like to see them get their own. I would hate sharing, and being the irrelevant team.

the team flirted with moving to Anaheim when they were courting Kobe during his free agency... that being said i don't see them moving anytime soon..

Unless they move from Los Angeles county they should play at the Staple Center.

I'm thinking this is a pretty sweet deal as is. Split costs, fill empty days during road trips....

No reason to move. It's economical, everyone knows where it is, and why should they move and not the Lakers? Neither team owns the building.

They need to move to Las Vegas seriously.

That would be the hottest thing in town

if the owner wanted to move he already would have. he has already said he doesn't want to move because he doesn't want to move further away from his house. pretty awesome reason if you ask me.

i agree though, its time to ship the lakers out. go back to somewhere with lakes

You seriously asked "why should they [THE CLIPPERS] move and not the Lakers"?

:)

The banners in the rafters is why. The jerseys in the rafters is why. The statues outside the arena is why. The size of the respective dressing rooms in Staples Center tells you all you need to know about which basketball team the Staples people would rather keep. They could take or leave the Clippers. They keep 'em because the Clippers won't leave.

Why would the Clippers move, They have always and still piggyback off Lakers' fans that watch thier games because they are way cheaper then Lakers tickets.

Plus Donald Sterling is cheap, no way he wants to fund a new stadium that may not work. If he wants a new arena, he needs to wait and see if his team can score some more fans to make sure that arena is filled.

PS: Lets be real Staples is the home of the Lakers. Clippers should be thankful LA shares it with them.

Exactly, people act like the Clippers have "out-grown" sharing an arena with the LAKERS! in LOS ANGELES! They havent even won a single regular season game.

IF the Clippers win a couple championships in next decade, then it might be arguable that they are being held back by sharing an arena

Is there any room to build another arena in LA?

there is no need to. if sterling wanted his own arena he could go out and buy one.

Yea the lakers should totally move, the rafters are full of clippers banners and retired numbers.

Win a championship first before you demand an arena for yourselves.

You're right.. I shouldn't stoop down to the level of the Lakers fans in here. I apologize. What I meant to say was... The team definitely needs it's own arena but they aren't dominant so right now it doesn't matter. Once the team wins a ring or becomes serious contenders they should move.. although I doubt they will.
