Who do you have to breakout for this season from the east and from the west. I got tyreke evans from the west and i can see him going 22pts, 5rebs, and 5 assists and then from the east i see brook lopez(homer) breaking out with 23 pts per game with 8.7 rebs

So who do you have from the east and west?

Kobe Bryant

The first random one that jumps to mind is Greg Monroe.

Staying Nugg-o-centric, both Gallo and Afflalo have a shot at making a splash (Gallinari with more star capability, AAA as more of a "starting 6th man" type). And Faried's gonna be fun.

Since I've only been following the Suns offseason, I'd go with Jared Dudley first and then Robin Lopez.

Evans and Lopez have already broke out. Evans avg. 20 5 and 5 as a rook and was hampered by injuries last year and Lopez avg. 20 and 6 rebs last year.

Breakout for the East: Evan Turner
Breakout for the Wet: Kyle Lowry

Yeah if these guys were gonna have "breakout" years it would have to be much more impressive statistically than OP suggested. Of course you can breakout by adding intangibles which lead to your team WINNING.

Everyone's sleeping on Ty. But that's a good call. I didn't even mention him in my post, and I'm a Nuggs homer. He has a real shot at taking his game to a high profile level this season.

someone at wolves.
I mean they have someone now that can get them great passes so at least one of them should up his stats. wes, beasley, love one of them.

It's nice to see Tyreke get so much love, I'm hoping he bounces back, hopefully improving his assist numbers, but I don't see his scoring increasing too much, he was the only real threat on the kings in his rookie year, so he scored a lot. Between him Thornton, Salmons, Jimmer, Cousins I don't see him scoring that much but can definitely improve his overall game.
For a "breakout" year I'd say Cousins in the West, Teague in the east. Not trying to be a homer, but Cousins looks like he's in excellent shape, and was a beast towards the end of last season.

I will also go with Jordan Hill, he has one of the best opportunities to have a break out season (A young Center coming into his 3rd season and being backed up by another young guy). His aint going to be a 20/10 guy but I would love to see him go 10/10/2

Shannon Brown 6th man of the year. Gallinari is going to be really good this year. I see that Nuggets team in the playoffs even without Chandler and Smith.

Why are people mentioning Kobe Bryant as a breakout player?

I don't really like to name 2nd year players as my breakout players they'd naturally be expected to improve on the season they had as a rookie so I won't say Greg Monroe or Paul George or Evan Turner.

I'll go with Serge Ibaka. I think many think he's just going to be a one dimensional shot blocker type but IMO his overall D is quite underrated and his mid range game while not top tier is still effective and going to be quite valuable in the scheme of that OKC Thunder offense.

i think ibaka's D is overrated actually, hes not a good post defender.

Jrue Holiday is about to take a step from being a good up and coming point guard to a great one.

Paul George is gonna have a big time year for the pacers. A 6-10 defensive force playing shooting guard could be a future star.

Evan Turner with his improved jump shot should take a big step foward in the right direction.

Call me a homer, I don't care....but I don't think people realize just how good Jrue Holiday is. Therefore he is my pick for breakout player.

Other than Jrue I'd go with; G-Money (Hoya Saxa), Kyle Lowry, and Eric Gordon.

Evan Turner will be much improved this year, but next year will be his breakout year.

I think Rudy Gay, James Harden and Steph Curry are going to get a lot more national recognition this year.

I think Jrue Holiday and Kyle Lowry can put themselves in the top 5-8 point guard discussion.

As for players coming out of nowhere, or making the biggest jump, I really like Jodie Meeks, Anthony Morrow and Jeff Teague.
