Mike Wells: The Pacers want to add a scorer to the bench. Their pursuit of Mayo and Crawford didn't work out, so now they're looking at Redd. Twitter

I think with the young core they have, this would be a great signing for a sharpshooter and someone who can give you 20 pt games from time to time.

Your on fire today with the thread making. Anyways on topic I think he's done. If he does come back I see him getting hurt again. Hope not but just my feeling. If I was a team, I would pass on him.

NBA is a passion for me. I love ProSportsDaily! Anyway I can contribute.

And plus, this is what the NBA Lockout does to the passionate NBA fan. You just break out!

I don't see why so many people are all over people about making threads, isn't that the whole point of this website really? Anyways, I like the addition of Redd just as a veteran in the locker room, if he can somewhat return to his old self that would be an added bonus.

I can't see him being effective.

No kidding. Some of the smaller stuff like the Shawne Williams thread, or opinion threads, are nice from time to time. There's only so many BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! threads you can read in a day.

I think he could be a nice addition if his knees are the least bit stable. He used to be one of my favorite players but his career took a turn for the worse.

I really think Redd's should retire, and wait for his jersey to be retired by the bucks.

I don't see what it would hurt to sign him for the league min for a year and sit him and use him in spot minutes to hit big shots. that's all the Pacers are really looking for. 5 to 10 min a game.....i think Redd can fill that bill pretty nicely. Why not? there really isn't that many minutes to go around. George, Rush and Stephenson will be getting the majority of the 2 spot min.

Meh. I'd rather let George/Stephenson use up any of the minutes he would get.

As a Bucks fan, he's probably done. But I'd love to see him get minutes somewhere...

...on the other hand, no I don't. Because I'd hate to see him do work on some crap contract when he did nothing while we paid him 20 mil a year.
