I'd think the heat would be interested as would LA and NY.

I'm sure some team will put a bid on him anyway.

Wow, Lakers now have options of Baron and Chauncey. Let's get them both lol.

But B. Davis' back will be an issue....although that could very well be an excuse...

The lakers have options of Baron of Chauncey? LOL. For one, one is already on a team, and the other may not pass the bidding. And on top of that, its the other way around.

pretty much 100% he gets picked up.

sorry, NY, LAL, MIA, etc. I like Denver best, if they're under the cap enough to bid, or maybe even a return to the Hornets.

Chauncey might get waived since Clips still have Bledsoe. Logjam at PG.

I doubt hornets or Denver takes on that contract. But I think with his back injuries its between those three you said sorry to lol

Why would DEN have interest? They have Lawson & Miller

And I doubt NOH wants to go down that road again.

I think he'll clear waivers.

As a Hornets fan, I'd love to see him make a return and give him the starting job again for this season. In the current situation of the Hornets, bringing him back to New Orleans would bring a fan base that in recent years B-Diddy helped create. This would benefit the Hornets at least for one season.

I'd bet money he's going back to LA to play for the Lakers.

B. Davis wants to play for the Knicks, mutual interest.

Alan Hahn of Newsday reported Wednesday that there is mutual interest between the Knicks and recently waived Baron Davis.
Davis will need to clear waivers to land in their lap, but Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal just tweeted that his injury is "legit and severe." Lloyd then added that the decision to waive Davis was more about money than his back, which makes sense given the size of his contract. Temper your expectations for Davis and don't worry him impacting the rotation wherever he lands, at least in the near future. Dec 14 - 8:39 PM

Ah, Lawson. Had a feeling I was forgetting someone. I'd still imagine they make a bid - if they can pay Baron a couple mil or less, and then trade Miller, they probably would - but yeah, maybe it isn't such a great fit.

Still, he'll get bid on by somebody.

Seems like he is a lock to sign with the Knicks if he doesn't get claimed and I would be shocked if he did.

He loves LA, and the Lakers need a PG. He and kobe will work well. Look out for NY and Miami too

he would be nice, but we only have one spot left. We need to go get a 7-footer.

The Cavs would've amnestied him anyways.

Baron's back issue is legit & severe. Could keep him out an extended period of time. This decision was more about cash than his back, though

Davis really hasn't been relevant since his dunk on Kirilenko.

Is it legal to amnesty players with an actual injury ? Happy for B-Diddy nonetheless, he needed to get the hell out of OHIO .

I think he meant that other teams would be turned off by the injury and not place a bid

IF he's gonna be healthy then Lakers , then Knicks. I wouldn't mind seeing the Knicks do work in the East.
