Eddy Curry did not make it thru 2nd practice with Heat, has now sat out 3rd & 4th. This experiment could be short lived.

Nothing personal against Miami, I just hate Eddy Curry. :laugh2:

I guess it's not easy to get back into game (or in this case practice) shape when you've been sitting on the bench for 2 years.

it's his Knees

Well knowing how long he must have been on them in order to persuade Riley to give him a chance to play for the Heat... I guess you can understand why.

Honestly though.... It might be cause he isn't used to this type of exercise since he's been out of the game for a while... A practice that has Lebron and Wade (yet alone his first few) cannot be fun to the average player.

Why should I be worried? Since when am I the gm or coach?

And why would it take you more than one time to check that Miami beat the Bulls 4-1. Isn't that pretty easy to remember?

And no there is no technicality of such. Curry is worse. By far. He doesn't play a lick of defense or rebound. You know, the requirement of a center when you already have plenty of offense between the big 3.

Good try though.

This is nothing more than a low risk, high reward experiment. Every Heat fan on here knows that we still need a competent 7 foot center....I wouldn't drop the ball on him yet, but it's definitely understandable for some to be skeptical. It's funny how all the Heat fans automatically think this has anything to do with them.

We Bulls fans hate the Knicks too, but they understand completely why this thread was made.

This has nothing to do with the Heat, and everything to do with Eddy Curry being a bum.

The Bulls fans hate him because he was the biggest waste of a high draft pick in franchise history..including Jay Williams...cause at least Jay had a reason (albeit idiocy) for not panning out.

Knicks fans get it because the Bulls essentially were able to pawn him off on them, and they paid him a ton of money for nothing.

Heat fans...get over yourself. Just because a player is on your team doesn't mean that every time he is talked about is BECAUSE he is on your team.

He does look much better. That is how he looked the last time he was any good for the Bulls too. So who knows, maybe he has a fairly productive year. IF he can regain some sort of endurance with his body. He has been out so long, and had so many issues before, I am not sure that just losing some weight will allow his body to stay healthy.

And as much as he pisses me off for not putting forth an iota of effort when he was on the Bulls....I still don't like seeing a guy be a laughing stock.

The guy had a lot of talent once.

When he was in high school, at something like 270 lbs and 6'11, he could do a standing back flip. The guy had potential, and it was all wasted because he has no heart or work ethic. No desire to be great, or even good for that matter. It's sad really.

But it is infuriating to Bulls and Knicks fans for the potential and money he wasted in their uniforms.

this has nothing to do with Heat hate...it is funny because its fat Eddy Curry who asks his employees to touch his penis.

On January 12, 2009, Curry was sued by his former chauffeur, David Kuchinsky. Kuchinsky accused Curry of trying to solicit gay sex from him. According to court papers, Curry repeatedly approached Kuchinsky "in the nude," saying, "Look at me, Dave, look" and, "Come and touch it, Dave." The Manhattan federal court suit also stated that Curry made Kuchinsky perform "humiliating tasks outside the scope of his employment, such as cleaning up and removing dirty towels [into which Curry had ejaculated] so that his wife would not see them." Kuchinsky also said Curry called him racial slurs, including "****ing Jew," "cracker," "white slave," "white devil" and "grandmaster of the KKK".

Kuchinsky claimed he was owed $68,000 in unpaid wages, as well as $25,000 in expenses for which Curry never repaid him. Those expenses, he said, included cellphones that Curry had him buy as gifts and hotel and club bills. Kuchinsky is also a convicted felon who served a three-year prison sentence for a 1992 burglary in New Jersey. He also got three years' probation in a 2004 resisting-arrest case in New Jersey.[13] Curry's lawyer, Kelly A. Saindon, called Kuchinsky's claims "preposterous" and "extortion".

I'm a sucker for comeback stories.

I am as well for someone who works hard and deserves it. Eddy Curry is fat, lazy and unmotivated.
The Guy is over 7 feet tall, extremely athletic for his size and has shown that he can dominate in the paint. In a league where decent centers are scarce, the guy could make 15 million a year if he was just motivated.
If you come to Camp afte missing all of last season, playing in like 4 games the two seasons before, and you still are 80 LBS overwieght, who really cares how much wieght you have lost? Knicks fans have been hearing this for 4 years now.
If you told me tommorow to shave my head, lose 100 LBS and learn Latin just for the priveledge of sitting on an NBA bench I would start yesterday.
Eddy Curry is a fat joke. I hope he fails, then maybe that would motivate him. Oh wait, he already had 4 chances at that.

If Eddy Curry signed a veteran minimum, non-guaranteed contract for the Sacramento Kings, this thread wouldn't exist.

But because he signed that same contract for the HEAT, this is thread-worthy.

Wrong, we waited all those years for his Fat contract to roll off the books. There is no love for this guy. Just look at his history for heavens sake. He hangs out with thugs, his life is a waste. The guy could have had it all and he just does not care.

Alleged sexual harassmentOn January 12, 2009, Curry was sued by his former chauffeur, David Kuchinsky. Kuchinsky accused Curry of trying to solicit gay sex from him. According to court papers, Curry repeatedly approached Kuchinsky "in the nude," saying, "Look at me, Dave, look" and, "Come and touch it, Dave."
Kuchinsky also said Curry called him racial slurs, including "#%$@ing Jew," "cracker," "white slave," "white devil" and "grandmaster of the KKK".

Daughter and ex-girlfriend's murder Curry's ex-girlfriend, Nova Henry, and their nine-month-old daughter Ava were found murdered in Chicago on January 25, 2009. A paternity test proved that Ava was the daughter of Curry and Henry. Their three-year old son Noah was found unharmed at the scene.[15] Two counts of first degree murder were brought against 36-year-old attorney Frederick Goings on February 22, 2009;[16] Goings had served as Henry's attorney in a custody case about Ava against Curry.[17]

ForeclosureAs of June 2009, Curry's Chicago home was in foreclosure; he owed close to $220,000 in mortgage payments. Curry took out a nearly $4 million mortgage on the property in 2006, which included monthly house payments of more than $25,000.[18]

Scott Skiles said it best when asked what Eddy could do to improve his rebounding. "He could jump."
