View Full Version : Troy Murphy?

I really think the Pacers should look into signing Troy Murphy to a 1 year deal. He was always a solid contributor for us, excellent rebounder, good scorer and good leader. I think he would be a good change of pace PF-C coming off the bench. He could alleviate a lot of pressure on the second unit. Hansborough would not have to work as hard on the board, the offense would be spaced out a lot better (since Troy is an 3pt threat) and he has good size. It would make us one piece closer to a championship

Have you been saving this post since 2008?
The wait was well worth it.

Lakers should probably take a look at him.

He'd be a good PF off the bench to stretch the floor with his outside shooting, and let Bynum or Gasol operate in the post.

He wants to be a Bull.

if he plays like he did for the celtics, he isn't helping anyone.

He's horrible as a center, and I don't think we need anyone else taking Tyler Hansbrough's minutes now that we have David West.

I don't think hes done, I just think the Celtic's and Net's offenses were not fit for him.

He should've been a HEAT player last season, but felt the Celtics gave him a better opportunity to play and win. Not only did they not play him, but they ended up losing to the HEAT in the ECSF. The Celtics did do a great job of keeping a player from going to the HEAT, though.

I think he would fit well with the Bulls taking Kurt's spot.
