Lakers hope Andrew Bynum's five-game suspension gets reduced. He appealed it but hasn't heard back from the league yet:

Without Bynum at our xmas day game, my money is on Chicago without a doubt.

If it gets reduced by one game I'd be stoked.

They should just let him miss the first 3 games. We're already having a short season.

Nobody played November. It doesnt make sense to suspend him now.

Yup, he lost alot more money already due to the lockout than he wouldve for the first five games.

Lakers @ Orlando on Jan 20th. That should be interesting seeing them go head-to-head.

Realistically, the suspension should be prorated. If it was to be an 82-game season and he received a 5-game suspension, then if it's a 66-game suspension, it should be cut down to a 4-game suspension. I think that would be fair, and that would be the same percentage of games missed as well.

5/82 = 6.1 %

4/66 = 6.1 %

I think that if the league reduces or flat out drops the suspension that would be a dead give away that D12 is on his way to L.A.

But what unifiorm will each be wearing? is the real interesting part in this particular game.

meh.

He deserved it..he should serve it. Can't let time (or bias) dilute the fact that what he did was wreckless and has no place in the game.

I think he should have done it in game one!

Well then you aren't very smart.

Barea was fine and would have continued to play...and torch us., Bynum would have been suspended and would have missed playoff games instead of regular season games.

Let's just thank god that you don't run the team.
