Bulls/Thunder or Heat/LA if LA plays like the Lakers of old.

$KnicksAndKobe$
11-26-2011, 07:43 PM
Knicks - Spurs
Knicks - Lakers
Lakers - Heat

Other than those teams I would pick Thunder - Bulls

Chacarron
11-26-2011, 07:45 PM
Lakers - Celtics
Lakers - Heat
OKC - Bulls

in that order.

If I had to pick one team to go I'd probably go with the Bulls.

If not that I'd like to see Boston/LA again but doubt that is likely. Also OKC/Miami would be fun to watch.

Come on now let's not choose off teams that play "exiting" even though the mavs were not considered to be an exiting team they still made last years finals very entertaining, I'm gonna go with the lakers vs. Knicks / Heat or the Mavs vs Knicks.
Fantasy would be : Nets vs. Mavs though.

Vincent33

Any mix of Blazers/Warriors/Suns/Jazz/Thunder/Kings v. Knicks/Celtics/Pacers/Heat/Raptors/Bulls since I think those are the LOUDEST arenas in the league and the crowd noise would make for a fun series.

But if being more realistic for these teams chances to make the Finals, cut the list to Thunder v Celtics/Heat/Bulls, and with a shortened season, Boston has a realistic shot.

I disagree. A shortened season means 16 less games, sure, but it also entails more back-to-back and back-to-back-to-back games, which takes a huge toll on veteran teams.

Remember, they're moving toward a 66-game schedule after losing a seven weeks of the season. To put that in perspective, had the season started on time, most teams would have played 25 to 27 games by December 25th.

That will hurt them during the season. I agree with you there, but the Celtics will make the playoffs no doubt and probably no lower than a 4th. But with 16 games less played on those old bones, I think it would help them during the playoffs.

How does one get cocky after being owned by the Mavricks?

Perhaps it's me, but I didn't take it cocky. I took it as he doesn't care who they play as long as the Heat are in the finals.

Like me. I am a Knicks fan. Doesn't matter to me who we play as long as we are there.

Although, Knicks vs Thunder is what I am hoping for.

Spurs V Bulls would be great. Or perhaps one more Boston V LA match up, since they've each won one series, we need to see who wins a best two-out-of-three match-up. It would be nice to see some young teams like OKC or Chi-town or even Philly and Indy make a deep playoff push. I'd like to see pretty much anybody other than Miami and Dallas in the finals again.

I'd say the Knicks-Grizzlies as my homer pick. Any NY or Memphis fan would know that would be an awesome series, games against the Grizz are fought tooth and nail..That'd be awesome.

Larger market picks would be Knicks-Lakers, Lakers-Bulls/Heat

A non-Heat fan who is rooting for the Heat? Explain.

Long story short. I was indifferent to LeBron when he came into the league. I enjoyed watching him, what basketball purist wouldn't? Over the past 4 years or so, the complete haters out there have made me actually pull for him to win. I always liked Wade as well, and I want the LeBron critics, and Kobephiles, to stfu.

Without expanding further, there ya go.
