I think this is the year of the Heat. But hey maybe i'm wrong

RekeHavoc

I think this is the year of the Heat. But hey maybe i'm wrong

i think it can be, it depends on what improvments the heat and bulls make tho

i expect the heat to either sign a center, or use bosh to get a pg and center

and i expect the bulls to sign battier, and trade asik for mayo

if the heat have a roster like:

Nash, cole world
Wade
Lebron
Haslem
Lopez

and the bulls have a roster like:

Rose,Watson
Battier,Mayo,Korver
Deng, Brewer
Boozer,Gibson
Noah, Thomas

i think the bulls would win caus of the boost they get from battier's defense, and mayo's scoring off the bench

and a better offensive system that involves more pick and rolls with boozer

i think evans will make a huge leap this year, but i wldnt say they would have a higher chance of making the playoffs than LAC

but hopefully, Cousins gets his act together, and with the addition of hickson, i think they will be alot more competitive

i hope they get a high pick in 2012, i think they will be a top 5 west team in a few years, just not sure westpal is the right guy to get them there atm

Durant is going to be the media appointed runaway MVP by the all-star break (if there is one) or mid-season point, just like they did last year with Rose. Book it.

lol at thinking Lebron is ever going to win another MVP.

You should have gave us more options for MVP but even if you didn't I still would have picked Kevin Durant.

My top 5 rankings for MVP next season

3. Howard
4. Kobe
5. Wade/LBJ

I choose other oh wait that is not an option so we have to pick from someone the TC thinks is possible because its not possible for it to be anyone else.

Credible polls, good polls always have an other or none of the above option or say out of those listed.

Bulls
NY ( NY & Miami in the 2nd rd... come get some *****es!!! )

Pacers finish 9th

West

OKC
Dallas
L.A
Memphis
SAS (they make trades, so they slip... looking to the future)
Portland
Denver
Houston

Sorry Golden State

Free Agency:

Miami signs Crawford & a Center (get them both discounted ) NY gets a big man, L.A signs Sean battier or Prince (everybody makes moves)

If this Amnesty Clause goes through.... this is going to be crazy (I predict 4 super teams lol).

Trade Predictions:

Cp3 gets traded to to L.A (with out signing an extension) L.A gambles, this means they don't have to give up the house for Cp3 "Keeps L.A main core intact. They'll convince Cp3 to sign an extension when the season is over "done deal".

Howard gets traded to OKC.. He signs a two year extension giving OKC time to prove to him that their a championship team.

ECF: HEAT vs Boston .... Heat wins in 6 (game winning shot by Bosh)

WCF: OKC vs L.A ... L.A wins in 7 (game changing shot by Cp3 in OKC)

Finals Miami vs L.A ... HEAT wins in 5 (makes Cp3 hungrier & from this point on, not really friendly with Wade & Lbj)

Look for Roy Hibbert to get MIP, he has been working out with Tim Duncan this offseason among other things, getting stronger for example. MVP will probably go to Durant, I believe he will have a breakout year. 6th man homer pick would be George Hill, if not him then probably James Harden. Rookie of the year goes to Derrick Williams. Defensive player of the year probably goes to Dwight Howard, runner up Joakim Noah. Here are my standings predictions:

East:
1. Heat
2. Bulls
3. New York
4. Boston
5. Pacers (assuming they sign a big FA or make a big trade)
6. 76ers
7. Hawks
8. Magic (I don't see things getting any better for them)

West:
1. Thunder
2. Mavericks
3. Lakers
4. Grizzlies
5. Spurs
6. Trailblazers
7. Rockets
8. Warriors (Mark Jackson will bring a winning attitude to the team, they will have a new image.)

Lebron will be gagging again, 99.9% sure.

Stop overrating Wade so much lol. He wasn't SO much better in the playoffs or was he even better?
Last Year's playoffs:

First round:
LeBron 10.6RPG 6.2APG 24.2PPG
Wade 8,4RPG 5,2APG 22,2PPG

Semifinals:
LeBron 8,2RPG 3,6APG 28PPG
Wade 6,8RPG 4,8APG 30,2PPG

Conf. Finals:
LeBron 7,8RPG 6,6APG 25,8PPG
Wade 6,4RPG 2,2APG 18,8PPG

Finals:
LeBron 7,2RPG 6,8APG 17,8PPG I agree, he sucked
Wade 7,0RPG 5,2APG 26,5PPG

So tell me why do you think Wade is a better playoff performer than LeBron?
And no, I don't like LeBron.

As for the poll, where's Kobe? He's arguably better or the same than 2-3 players on the options.

I'm curious to who you think he's better or the same.

Rose, Dirk, Durant, and Kobe are not far off from each other. One may be better than the other but it's not like it's so far off.

Rose and Kobe are easily interchangeable. I question whether Dirk would be ranked so highly without his team winning a championship? Lets say Pau Gasol actually 'showed up' for the playoffs and it lead to the Lakers winning the championship.. We'd most likely still have Kobe as a top 5 player, and Dirk well, ranked as he has always been.

I'm not saying Kobe is way better than these guys, but these guys aren't way better than him. You can easily rank them 5-8 in any order.

 Don't hate :)

I'm not, I just wanted to point that out. If the Miami Heat players + coach do win those awards I'd be damn impressed and would expect nothing but a championship.

So tell me why do you think Wade is a better playoff performer than LeBron?
And no, I don't like LeBron.

If production/stats meant everything than you would have a point. Stats and production do not mean everything, so you do not have a point.

Can someone give me a link for the 2011 NBA Award predictions? Cause I will laugh even harder if Lebron got this many votes.

Truth is Lebron threw away his MVPs out the window when he decided to ***** out and join Miami. The same applies to Wade except we all know Wade is not a ***** and he just stayed with his respective team.

I'm a Knicks fan, but I gotta say the Pacers future is really bright. They have a great young core. I think George Hill was a great pickup and Hibbert is improving every year. Add that with cap space this year where they could add a player like Jamal Crawford or David West, that's a really good team with a bright future.

this.

and look at the teams he put those numbers up on,lmaoo

come on man, lets be real

mike miller can put up some good numbers in miami if he has 2 working thumbs this year. hes too good of a shooter to be as bad as he was last year even with the injuries. the big 3 will get him some good looks and once he gets his confidence back, with a season of playing together already i think he'll be more comfortable/aggressive and he really is a good rebounder no matter what. so i think he could be in the mix of course all this providing hes healthy as was already mentioned (fingers crossed!).
