Horrible turnover at our blue line costing us a goal. Nice goal though by Kopitar. Kinda happy right now I have him on Fantasy and DON'T have Hank for the first time in years.

We look bad right now... not a pretty way to open your season.

Good to get one back. The early penalties hurt, but there settling in more now.

First good shift of the season. Sauer had a really good chance there.

Anyone have a url to watch it? I'm in upstate New York right now. MSG is playing the Sabres game and Versus, even though it says its suppose to be playing the Rangers game, has some outdoor show on for some reason...

******. Soft penalty to call in OT IMO. Girardi, Dubi, Cally and Mcdonagh all played really well. Would have liked are chances in a shootout. Good to get a point though.

Saw a lot of things I liked but same type of **** as last year. I agree that it was a pretty tough call in OT.

Looks like MZA is just gonna get fined, and not suspended which is good. That line needs to play better though. They had a good shift right before Gaboriks goal, but other then that Stepans line was pretty non existant.

question guys, do you prefer separate threads for every single game or would you like one thread for each month? like a gamethread for october, november, etc...

Months kinda long. Maybe a week or like 3, 4 games.

Month is too long. Either game by game or what nyanks said

Gotta be satisfied with a point against a team many think, As well as me, could be tp 3 in the west

I realize it's only one game but a few things I noticed. Derek Stepan should be up on that second line, there's no reason for Fedotenko to be there, I've said it many times before but he couldn't put a puck in the Atlantic Ocean. Stepan is being wasted where he's at, and to be honest I think his skill set would fit better with Anisimov and Callahan. Another thing I noticed was that although Delzotto threw up a couple bad passes, he was more confident and jumping up in the play, and I liked it, I hope he continues to do that and can limit the bad passes. Also, I thought that once we added Richards and had the young guys with a year under their belt we'd be changing our style maybe a little bit and attacking more, we seemed to be waiting for L.A to come out with the puck trying to trap it up. That might be happening more because Staal isn't there and our blueline is young, and ofcourse it's only one game, a game we got a point out of. It was great to be watching meaningfull hockey again though! Need a big effort tomorrow against Anaheim.
