My favorite European of all time, next to Toni Kukoc that is. Sounds bad, hope he pulls through.

They say his condition is stabilized.

He was playing basketball (he's 46 years old now btw) and suffered this. Hope everything goes fine. An icon in global basketball.

No Vlade Divac?

don't wanna derail the topic but:
Sabonis
Galis
Petrovic
Kukoc
Alvertis
Jasikevicius
Bodiroga
Nowitzki
Kutluay
Fanis Christodoulou

No room for Divac in my top 10 (and Diamantidis will climb to the top 10 soon enough)

Hope he makes it, this guy is a legend when it comes to ball. If he had played in the NBA when he was in his prime, he'd probably be a household name of all-time greats.

wow never knew he was such a sick passer

you can make a case for him being the best passing man among bigs ever.

His passing and basketball IQ (along with being 7"4) kept him a dominant player (and yes he was dominant, just in short stretches), teams couldnt triple team him because he did this to them (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34AzpBKnb-A), he would EASILY find the open man.

The guy had instantaneous reactions, he read defenses so fast that it didnt matter if he was moving in slow motion, he was already a step ahead of his opponents mentally, just imagine the beast of a player we would have seen in the days he could actually move with the best of them.

Tell me that wasnt the greatest touch pass youve ever seen

He misses the layup but thats not Sabas fault.
