Some tight races in the AL and NL. With only a few games left this year - who wins the AL batting title and who wins the NL batting title?

AMERICAN LEAGUE

.341 Adrian Gonzalez
.336 Miguel Cabrera
.336 Michael Young

NATIONAL LEAGUE

.329 Ryan Braun
.329 Jose Reyes
.326 Matt Kemp

I think Cabrera takes it and so does Braun. That's right, I had Cabrera all along.

Braun - .331
Reyes - .330
Kemp - .325

Want Kemp to get it just so he can lock up the MVP.

Kemp's having a monster year.

i know
i feel like the MVP rides on him achieving something that hasnt been done since 1967, and 1937 in the NL
unfair

NL batting title is marginal anyways. not like Kemp is hitting .275 and Braun .330

He should win the MVP regardless.

Isn't it funny how a few points would make the difference.

I hope he wins the MVP regardless, guy deserves it

Miguel Cabrera moves into the lead in the AL. This could be Miggy's first batting title I believe (I don't think he has one yet). Cabrera is currently at .341 and A-Gon is at .338

This would be his first

Miggy had a really good weekend. He should be garnering some MVP consideration now.

The fact that some writers have made it a point to even say "If Kemp wins the triple crown he'll be the NL MVP" is ridiculous. So, you're telling me that it will take a few measly *** points to keep him from winning? What a crock of ****.

With that said, since the Mets are going no where and obviously don't have a potential NL Cy Young winner it'd be nice to see Reyes accomplish the batting title. Just because no Met has ever done it.

Journalist lack logic in the first place, why would they have it when it comes to award voting?

Only Brewers fans use the "Braun deserves it because hes on a winning team" argument

i hope thats the case, but there is a pittsburgh sports writer on twitter

And the name atop my NL MVP ballot will be ...

then some *** said it's easily braun and he responded

// You're getting my drift, Chris. Tho' Kemp has moved up a notch or two on my list. Gotta vote 1-10.
WTF? kemp moved up a few spaces just NOW?
if he's not 1st on everyone's ballot, he has to be 2nd
unbelievable
