What up guys,

Does anyone here collect current sport cards? Such as Panini, Upper Deck and etc. I just popped open a NBA Panini Limited 2010-2011 Hobby box and received a big hit. It was a John Wall Auto 4 Color Patch Rookie Card #4/10. Its going for 1000.00 plus on Ebay. Not really sure if I wanna keep it or sell it. I will be posting a picture of the card when I get home from work. Feel free to post some of your hits/cards on here.

In '05 I bought a pack of Press Pass football cards and an autographed Aaron Rodgers card was in there. Pretty happy about that! Even happier after he fell to Green Bay.

Are cards really almost worthless now?

Or do people only want numbered autographed ones?

The only ones that can fetch you some cash are the jersey cards, autograph cards, or some REALLY rare card.

Not a big fan of basketball cards, prefer baseball or football although I do have some old basketball

The best of my collection is a Beckett Basketball Monthly #1 (MJ Cover) in Mint condition, and late 80's Hoops, and early 90's Upper Deck series.

Pretty much. Cards aren't worth anything anymore unless you have something really rare.

Me too, I got a bunch of the old Bellingham Mariner's sets from when ken griffey jr played up here. The Place that made/sold them was right across the street from my house. I wonder how many were actually printed. Got an autographed ball from him when he was up here playin too, impossible to authenticate though. I was like 8 years old when I got it.

Nah cards can get you money. Just have to look around and see how much there going for. Auto and patches really make the card stand out tho.
