Hey guys, Some of you may remember that for the last three years I have conducted a poll at the end of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. Its is now that time to vote! I would like to start this up once more considering the NBA season is now over and we can get to this discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round. I have also included the results of those last 2 years so everyone can see how much things have changed...Enjoy.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best.

Horford or Noah. I don't think anyone else really deserves to be mentioned.

Tyson Chandler gets no love. He is a rebounding machine and a defensive anchor for a title team. Rebounding and defense are both A+. Guess people don't like defense.

I would LOVE to hear why Tim Duncan sucks

Because he averages 13 and 10 and still plays top notch defense.

I have no idea why people say Duncan isn't good anymore.

My vote goes for TC but Nene,Harford,Gasol and Noah all of them are really close options tbh

Gotta be Al Horford here, but Nene and Chandler aren't far behind. I'm actually interested to see where Tyson gets placed on this poll. I was actually considering him for #4.

It also deals with fan bases, I bet you Noah goes before Chandler

There is only like 5 Mavericks fans, the rest stay in the Mavs forum

Chandler had an amazing season, and was the 2nd or 3rd best defensive PLAYER in the league, not just center. (DPOY voting)

and pretty much had the same stats as Bynum

He will never get any love

Horford
Chandler
Nene
Gasol

should be the next 4

Noah is probably a top 5 overrated player in the NBA.. His defense is overstated and average at best.. he is severely overpaid... and hes an idiot. Only Lebron James goes on record saying stupider things than Noah..

The only thing i can praise Noah on is his heart. He has the heart and passion of a lion and he is the soul of that Bulls team. He can also guard every position well enough. Imo he is a PF with no offense. He is great at what he does and thats to provide energy and hustle and to get rebounds. He is nothing but a role player.

[end rant] :D

Noah and then Horford, all though both are deserving for this spot. I just can't ignore how Jo owned Horford in the Playoffs.

My pick is definitely Horford, but I think people aren't giving enough love to Nene here. I have a feeling he's going to to need to change teams before people understand his real impact.

Why does he have to be getting no love in order for us to prefer another player? Couldnt someone else just say you arent showing their preferred center any love?

Maybe we just prefer players who are more consistent year to year and are obviously on the rise.

Ill make a sig bet with anyone and abandon my account if i lose that Brook Lopez will be an all star before Noah and Noah might not EVER become one..

2nd best defender in the league, rebounding machine, and the most efficient player in the league? Tyson Chandler please.

Horford's really plays like a PF, and wouldn't have a huge problem with Nene or Noah (althoug Noah is basically a poor man's Chandler).

I laugh at anyone who voted for a two series playoff hero or a center who doesn't rebound or play defense.

why's everyone hating on noah:shrug:

I can see how people are making a case for horford here, and even tyson. I mean he did just win a championship. That said, i believe the mavs win that championship with horford, noah, or gasol on that team. Just sayin. I've seen him play a lot of years, good rebounding and defense, but nothing in the brain. He is like a mirror image of noah, except noah plays harder IMO. I'm a chandler fan and am happy he got a ring, but I almost feel as though he just happened to be what an already stacked and ready to win team with a superstar needed out of its center position....defense and rebounding. :hide: I mean if he wasn't on the mavs would he be voted here? just raising points, the man has a ring and is a solid role player.

^ same as Noah minus the ring.

I have no problem with Noah being voted beyond #5 but he is not better than Horford.
