I can't believe this happened! I mean - we had so much trade potential with this guy?

He's a lefty! I can't believe we couldn't get something for a lefty with a 5.00+ ERA before the trade deadline.... a lefty STARTER!! Has to have value.... bet we could have traded him to the O's for Matusz or something... he's been struggling.

Very disappointed in AA and how he's handled this situation. Tsk...

I am so happy that he is gone and it was long overdue before DFA Jo Jo lol You know how many games Jo jo cost this team. I will so happy if we traded Jo Jo for a pile of crap because jo jo is piece of crap wow I am so happy Jo Jo, Jason Nix and Juan riveria is longer with this team.

You guys aren't seeing the bigger picture here. He went to Baltimore, now instead of only winning 75% on games every year against them. We will now win a minimum 132% of games against the O's.

Side note: Odds that Jo Jo beats us in his first game against us, just to be a SoB. 5/1

All this means that we will likely have to go up against his arm 2 times this year, and possibly 4 times a year as long as he stays with Baltimore. Id say that 2 more wins was all he was worth after they let him go....so lets cash our 2 games with him pitching against us.

Yup. Murphy's Law. He'll pitch a no-hitter against us. It's just the way it is.

People do realize that we have 3 days to either take him back, work out a trade, or give him to Baltimore (Rios to Chicago). I'm sure AA can work something out

Odds are Jojo can gift Yankees/bosox/rays just as many wins as giving us

No advantage unless fighting for wild card against teams outside this division

Pull him back. The first possible team that could claim him, did. There's interest around the league, so unless the Orioles offer something, I'd put him in the pen for the rest of the year.

And yes, I'm actually being serious.
