Add Barkley to this... and yea. Any other era (another poster said this) and they all win chips. Jordan was just too much. All 3 were unreal.

Best overall career out of those who didn't win rings: Malone, Barkley, Baylor.

Since Chris Webber is one of my favorite players, he is the most deserving of a Ring.

Well, he asked for best "player". You can argue who was better between Stockton/Malone/Barkley/Baylor. Can't argue Reggie over them.

I thought Baylor got a ring with LA his last season. I know he retired 9 games in, but dont players on the regular season roster still get a ring? Could be wrong about this.

2nd this! Also want to add the Drexler/80s 90s Blazers teams. The Blazers had 21 straight years of playoffs and 0 titles to show for it. Thank you Pistons, Bulls, Lakers, you rat bastards...

You could say that for every star that played during the Jordan Era. Hakeem was smart and won his two when Jordan retired.

Haha, I really have no idea why. I love 80's bball, all teams, all players. But he just does not click with me for some reason.
Think I should watch some more of his games.

Karl Malone .......even though its still early it looks like Lebron is following in Malone's footsteps leaving one team for another team with all star players. Most likely will be the same result. 0 Championships.

Baylor technically has one, because he did play for the lakers during a season that they won it all, but he retired like 2 weeks into the season. Right after he retired they had the crazy long win streak (34 games?) and eventually won the championship. He got one because he was on the team, but he wasn't on the team when they won.

Yeah, because Melo will win all the championships for new york for next 6 years.

Oh well, welcome back to relevancy after a decade.

I imagine if he was with a prime Shaq earliar this decade

My all time picks for this thread: Elgin Baylor, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Stockton in that order. I am surprised Baylor's name has not been mentioned here as many times as it should have.

Hands down Malone. He had the best all around career, didn't miss games and his teams were always winners.

Worth mentioning are Stockton, Barkley, Miller, Ewing and others, but Malone wins this no doubt.

Alot of these guys must HATE Jordan...

But I'd have to say Karl Malone. Especially considering he made it there twice against MJ and lost both times. It was still very weird that one year in 2004 when he was on the Lakers.
