Who is the best passing big man ever? Personally I'd give it to Bill Walton, when he was healthy the Blazers built their offense around his ability to find the open man. Honorable mention to Arvydas Sabonis and Chris Webber, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

Shaq, Sabonis, Webber, Divac, Garnett all come to mind on initial thought without looking at stats.

The Kings offense in the Webber era was basically built around the passing ability of Webber and Divac. Both of those guys fed the post and baseline cutters beautifully. And Webber was just generally ridiculous as a passer.

When I read the title of this thread I thought Chris Webber.

Whats the height cut off? c-webb was 6-10 Magic was listed at 6-9. I would say Magic unless you are talking 7 footers only.

Of the players that I saw the whole career of, Chris Webber and Vlade Divac. On rep, Arvydas Sabonis. Tim Duncan's pretty good too.

Karl Malone was a damn good passer...which makes sense since he played with the best passer of all time.

I always attributed Divac's passing ability to the learning experience he must have had playing with Magic early in his career. I think he really picked up most of his techniques from him. Interestingly enough he went on to be teammates with Webber and Brad Miller who also became exceptional passers for their size.

KG also had some unreal assist numbers for a big, quite impressive. From the players I've watched i think those are the guys worth mentioning.

It's very rare for a really good team to be built around a passing big man. Walton and Webber were those big men. That's why I see them as the best two ever along with Arvydas Sabonis who was of that caliber.

Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, and Chris Webber. I am surprised no has mention Russell or Chamberlain yet. The fact that Wilt led the league once in assists is absolutely stunning.

Never knew that. That is incredible.

K-Love is a very underrated passer and he might be the best in the league right now.

Bogut is a damn good passer, but in order to avoid being called a homer, I'll say Vlade Divac.
