I would also argue that Marbury is a bigger bust than any of those PG's you put on there...how about Shaun Livingston?

chong2204
07-06-2011, 04:25 AM
I wouldnt say Shaun Livingston is a bust, he did blowout both knees on a drive in LA.

cmon now...call me out for putting Livingston on there cause of injury, but ignore that OP put Oden and Jay Will on there?

07-06-2011, 04:41 AM
And thats why he's a bust.

I just dont think he sucked like a lot of these other guys, but yeah hes a bust, but in another shade or category of bust...Like Bender and Oden....and Jay W...

and I am assuming you are saying someone other than demar derozan when you say demar?

demar johnson from university of cincinnatti (however u spell it)...and marbury was no where near a bust btw

smood999
07-06-2011, 04:43 AM
and yes if oden, jay williams and demar johnson r on there...livingston deserves to also

smood999
07-06-2011, 04:45 AM
and i think its too early to call jonny flynn a bust and greg oden for that matter...also put bender on there as well to be in the same category as jay williams oden demar johnson and livingston

I would also argue that Marbury is a bigger bust than any of those PG's you put on there...how about Shaun Livingston?

In 15 seasons, Marbury averaged 19.3 ppg, 7.6 apg. That's hardly bust potential.

I don't see how Jay Williams is a bust, he suffered a tragic motorcycle accident. Okay he might've been an idiot for doing so in the first place but by no means can you call him a bust.

Too early to tell with Thabeet and Oden. DeMar DeRozan is not a bust. Darko Milicic is a C.

And although they technically are busts, I don't like to call players who struggled because of injuries such. I mean you could say Len Bias was a huge bust since he never played, but I like to associate bust with a player who just flat out underperformed in the NBA without injury limitations.

Stephon Marbury? He was an all-star, and averaged over 20 points for several seasons. You just made yourself look like an idiot. He was certainly not a bust, he had 12 great years of basketball in the NBA.

This was needed for you:

History you don't know very well. How can a guy be a bust when he wasn't even drafted:rolleyes::facepalm: To not be drafted and make it in the NBA for a few years is actually the opposite of a bust.

Eddy Curry, Big Country, Anthony Randolph, May (that kid was terrible), Muresan(sp), were some others that come to mind.

I'm messing with you dude. I know that doesn't translate well in text form, but whatever. And as smart alec as it may have been, I don't think it was wrong. But it's pointless. Can't wait to see who the busts from this year's draft will be

I am not gonna consider Oden a bust yet. I am still hopeful for him. God what injuries can do to a career! I was really big on Oden and thought he would become the next great big-man after Shaq. I wish he was not drafted by the blazers (their luck :()

kwame isn't a bust, as much as popular opinion leads him to be one...he was drafted out of high school and he took more time to develop than other players who made the jump from high school...kwame is a serviceable player and has been a starter for half of his career...guys who played 5-6 yrs or less who couldn't find a job in the nba are busts, and i don't consider injured players busts
