Kurt Thomas would be a really good starting center for Knicks. I think they should do it.

I love Nazr with the Thunder. They have a vet and a prime center holding down the 5. Very good decision to keep him.

Who said so? Just because he plays for your team doesnt mean he cant sign elsewhere. New york is a bigger market than chicago, and Kurt would have more minutes to play on the knicks.

not sure that is what he wants... he seemed pretty comfortable being a backup.. he wouldn't last an entire season starting...

and ny and chicago are pretty much the same market... bball wise...

i do hope he stays as a reserve for the bulls...

you'd be crazy to think NY would improve having him as a starter.

The Bulls were 29-8 with him as a starter good enough for a .783 winning %, without him in the starting line-up they were 33-12 good enough for a .733 winning %.

It could be argued that the Bulls were better when he started as opposed to when Noah started at the C. His age is OBVIOUSLY a factor but a 39 year old Kurt Thomas is a better option as a starter than anyone they have or had at the C last season. Provided he can stay healthy he will indeed make them better IMO.

Outside our starting 5 our team is pretty young especially coming off the bench. Kurt can provided not only some defense but some much needed veteran leadership in the locker room along side Billups/Melo/Amare
