View Full Version : non playoff teams you're interested (and not) in seeing play this season

This is not a homer thread for all the fans of (insert team that missed playoffs) to hype up their team. This is for the unbiased fan based solely on how interested/excited you are and are not to see certain teams play next season.

I'll start with my nots:

1) Going on a few seasons now, I have probably less interest than I've ever had in any team in seeing Charlotte play this season. And after their recent trade, I'm actually even less interested than I was last season. 2) Toronto, as always. I was only slightly, very slightly interested even when Bosh was there. 3) Milwaukee after they disappointed me last season when I thought they would be halfway decent. 4) Golden State. They just have players, decent players, but they don't even seem like a team. They're like a street ball team to me.

Teams I'm interested in watching:

1) For the first time in a long time, I'm extremely interested in seeing Minnesota. I love Kevin Love and can't way to see if he got even better. And they practically got 2 top draft picks considering Ricky Rubio is coming, to add to D Williams. Also get to see is Wes Johnson and Beasley will do anything. Once again, very excited. 2) And the Clippers. Scary thing is they'll probably make some moves this offseason, so they'll be even more exciting to watch. 3) Obviously the Nets IF IF IF they keep Darren and get someone else, like a Dwight. 4) How B Knight plays in Detroit, how Wall and McGee improve in Washington, how Jimmer meshes with Tyreke and Demarcus in Sac, how Kyrie is and if Cleveland can improve.

I did that for you.

I'm really excited to see Washington now and in the near future, I see them making a lot of moves.

I want to see.

Minny, LAC, Charlotte.

Kings - I love DeMarcus Cousins and want to see how he develops in his second season. Also want to see how Fredette fits in the NBA.

Cavs - Interested to see how Kyrie and Thompson begin the Cavs rebuilding process.

T'Wolves - Mainly to see how Rubio does after all the hype.

Clippers - To see if they can combine all this athletic talent and take a step up and push for the playoffs.

Clippers, especially if they get Iggy

06-25-2011, 10:15 AM
I'm interested in seeing the clippers this year. The team I couldn't give a **** less would be Utah. Games are boring as ****, and the jazz are going to be rebuilding for awhile.

06-25-2011, 11:56 AM
i'm now interested in the wizards, nice draft additions(vesely, singleton, mack), injured players should get healthy(nick young, rashard lewis, josh howard), emergence of john wall and of course the new uni's

06-25-2011, 11:57 AM
cavs and clippers. forget the twolves. they had garnett and couldnt put players around him to wina championship cause there cheap/ timpberwolves woulda won a championship if they spent a little and im not talkin about a aging cassel and sprewell

They will not be the most exciting team, but I'm interested in seeing how things play out in Utah. With Paul Millsap, Derrick Favors, Al Jefferson, Mehmet Okur, Enes Kanter for bigs it should be interesting. They draft the best projected SG in Alec Burks, now if they could flip one of their big men for a SF, say Okur for Iggy, that should be a good team.

I would think Charlotte would be more interesting given who they've drafted.
Same with the Bucks after getting Jackson. They're going to be very good this year.

I think the Wolves and Kings are most exciting to see.

If I wasn't a Suns fan, they'd probably be the top team I would have 0 interest in watching (so far) since they are a bad team and haven't done anything to improve.

To the OP, who's this Darren guy from the Nets?
But answering ur question, I'm interested in seeing Minny and I really hope they make the playoffs LOL. I also want to see the Cavs and Clippers. The teams that I don't give a **** r probably the Pistons and the Bobcats

Wolves and Clippers are going to be a fun watch next year.

06-25-2011, 01:36 PM
Minny and Sac Town.

The bolded part is not about grammar ("'cause they're cheap"), but rather because it's not at all true. Glenn Taylor spent money year after year to bring someone in but there were a couple problems - 1) guys didn't want to come to Minnesnowta and 2) they listened to Garnett too much (i.e. Mike James signing).

Golden State - They play some very exciting ball, and I've always been a big fan of Curry, before he was even drafted.

Toronto - I live in Ontario, so they're the talked about team everyone, especially on the sports shows that I'm always watching. I'm a big fan of Bargs, and both Johnsons.

Minnesota - They have so much young talent already with Beasley, and Love, and now adding in Rubio and Williams, wow.

Phoenix - Favourite team.
