Who do you think will sign him and how much will he get? The Nets have money and could use him but might be looking to save their cap money for 2012.

He's a perfect fit for the Spurs system to play alongside Duncan, but they can't afford him. I think the Hornets hold on to him.

Idk why but i think he'd be good in the Suns system. He's got that nasty mid-range jumper.

He won't be free agent for sure. After his injury teams won't take a risk and sign him for big contract

I think there is no way he gets HUGE money after that injury. Someone might pay him, but there is no way he gets huge cash.

He'd be crazy to opt out. No one is going to give him the money he is looking for after coming off that injury. ACL tear? Is he even healthy yet???

Very unlikely

why would he opt out after his injury and the lockout possibly happening?

the Pacers have crazy cap room (with 11 players under contract) and a need at PF.

They will get him or Landry

i think he might take his player option if thats still an option for him. whens the deadline for him exercising it?

he might want to take his 7 million, try and prove to people that he can still play, and cash in next year.

or do people think he will not risk lowering his value next year?

He might do exercise the option just so he has a guaranteed contract during the lockout. He has until next Thursday. If he can get back to his previous form and he exercises the option, then he'll get a big pay day next off-season. If not, he'd be smart to not exercise the option and get a deal with multiple years.

Suns would pay him considering the trainers they have

Hawks will have $ to spend after Crawford likely gone next season. Atlanta needs a PF/C and West would be a good fit.

Then that team deserves what they get.

I love watching West play, but if a bunch of dumb owners get into a bidding war over a guy his age that just suffered a serious knee injury... well, it illustrates why we're approaching a lockout.
