Has another value system (http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/6693430/painting-nba-trade-picture) for potential draft day trades and beyond. Here's a couple interesting ones. (Not necessarily likely)

MIAMI gets Dwight Howard ($2 bill) and Ryan Anderson (quarter); Orlando gets Pau Gasol (silver dollar), Lamar Odom (50-cent piece), and Ron Artest (dime); Los Angeles gets LeBron James ($2 bill) and Gilbert Arenas (minus-50 cents). Final tally: Miami ($2 out, $2.25 back), Orlando ($1.75 out, $1.60 back), Lakers ($1.60 out, $1.50 back).

Minnesota gets Monta Ellis (50 cents); Memphis gets the no. 2 pick (50 cents), the no. 11 pick (25 cents), Jonny Flynn (dime), and Martell Webster (nickel); Golden State gets Rudy Gay (silver dollar). Final tally: Minnesota (65 cents out, 50 cents in); Memphis ($1.00 out, 90 cents in); Golden State (75 cents out, $1.00 in)

Phoenix trades Steve Nash (50 cents), Jared Dudley (25 cents), and Josh Childress (minus-25 cents) to San Antonio for Tony Parker (50 cents) and Richard Jefferson (dime). Final tally: San Antonio (50 cents), Phoenix (60 cents).

LeBron to the Lakers? All 82 games would be televised nationally.

Lebron to LA lmao..........If you think Wade & Lebron had chemistry issues. Lebron & Bryant would have fits trying to figure out when each one should get the rock.

BTW, get Howard in Miami & Game Over!

That Suns spurs deal won't happen for two reasons.
1. Suns will never trade Nash to an arch rival
2. It's a god awful trade idea.

I should also add, Jared Dudley is not a throw in to any deal. I don't get why people think that.

BTW, get Howard in Miami & Game Over!Yeah he had another with primarily just a LBJ/Dwight flip and had this to say:

We'd also see a chastened LeBron either shift into full-fledged "I can't believe you traded me" Eff You Mode (capped off with his Stringer/Avon split with Wade) or start moping and making Vince Carter's last Toronto season look responsible and professional by comparison. With absolutely no in-between.

As a Spurs fan, Jared Dudley was the best part coming back in that trade.

Lebron would have a complete mental break down & be damaged goods if he is traded. He would be sulking for an eternity.

Heres a multiteam trade.

Knicks trade Landry Fields, Chauncey Billups, and 1st round pick to New Orleans. New Orleans trades Chris Paul to New York. New Orleans trades David West, 1st round pick and Chauncey Billups to LA for Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. New York than trades Toney Douglas and 2nd round pick to LA for Shannon Brown.
It improves all three teams.

Lakers:
PG-Chauncey Billups
SG-Kobe Bryant
SF-Ron Artest
PF-David West
C-Andrew Bynum

Hornets:
PG-Jarret Jack OR (PG in draft)
SG-Landry Fields
SF-Trevor Ariza
PF-Lamar Odom
C-Pau Gasol

Knicks:
PG-Chris Paul
SG-Shannon Brown
SF-Carmelo Anthony
PF-Ronny Turiaf
C-Amare Stoudemire

I think Lebron and Kobe would work, it won't happen though, but it'd work. Kobe plays extremely well off the ball. You can just throw it to him in the post, or he can come off screens, like he often did against Boston last year to get Ray off of him.

Won't happen, and LA loses everything outside of Kobe. Lebron would have some big shoes to fill too. Kobe's successor, and being the new face of LA is a lot to handle. Whether people like him or not, Kobe Bryant is Los Angeles.

Simmons oversimplifies. Not all lotteries are created equal. Not border line all stars are of the same caliber. He doesn't adjust for salary stuff either.

Oversimplifies is kind of harsh. Simmons opens with the admission that this was a stupid idea and a waste of time; further, in a game like this, the point is simplicity-- easier rules make it easier to play.

That said, some of his trades were still ridiculous, and I'm pretty sure he completely missed the math on one of them.
