I don't buy this, not at all. Make fun of ESPN all you want, but I don't believe it until one of their guys report it. I can't imagine this person finding out before anyone else.

That hoochie I always see on the portland CSN channel being that its local (although I dont know why considering im an entire state away), I havent seen her do anything national. Does a lot of blazers reporting, local sports ect...

ManRam

Again, I don't believe this yet, not at all...

But even if it does go down, I don't think it jumps us over Chicago. I mean, Josh Smith isn't a consistent scorer...and we all know what killed us last year.

Also, moving Jameer who was basically the only guy who could drive to the rim and create could be a big loss if Arenas doesn't bounce back (he's working hard this off-season). I think it would make us better, but let's not get carried away.

Breaking News: According to my sources the Orlando Magic will acquire Josh Smith for Jameer Nelson/ Ryan Anderson/ .more details stay tuned!

The Hawks will also acquire Daniel Orton/ and conditional draft picks in the Josh Smith trade..Hawks also trade Kirk Hinrich to the Magic.

This trade officially will be announced the day of the NBA Draft also there was speculation that a 3rd team jumped in, Details Stay Tuned!

The 3rd-team announced in the Hawks/Magic proposal is the Dallas Mavericks they will to trade Brendan Haywood and Rodrigue Beaubois to hawks

Marvin Williams will go to dallas in the 3 team trade, Mavericks are not expected to re-sign Caron Butler according to one of my sources.

LTBaByyy
06-21-2011, 09:29 PM
This would set back ATL completely, especially with the Joe Johnson contract also hangin around

Reminds me of the Wizards when they were about to trade Caron and then it went downhill from there

and they were left with only Arenas cause his contract

He is a solid sixth man and still young. Under Dallas system he should fit in pretty well. Either way he is way more useful for Dallas than Haywood (who has sucked this year) and Roddy B who is pointless and will never be the player they expect him to be.

what are u talking about after the allstar break haywood played great...besides regular season doesnt matter, he def proved his worth in the playoffs and it paid off!

With that said I do believe roddy B and Haywood are likely to be traded (good trade value) espcially considering we won with roddy B, and Haywood is a bit over paid. Look out for the Mavs to get a legit 2nd option for Dirk

Peja, Haywood, Roddy B, and Butler are all at risk for being shipped

cant believe not one person has mentioned that ATL already has jeff teague?? he just lit it up in the playoffs and proved he is the PG of the future in ATL. why would they trade for nelson and a bunch of other horrible contracts while giving up their 2nd best player?

josh smith wouldnt even be a good fit with Howard. sure they're both athletic but so what? they both would just clog the paint and fight over rebounds

Marvin Williams for Haywood and Beaubois is actually smart for the Mavericks, and rids the hawks of the crappiest 1st pick in a draft maybe ever.
Haywood has 34million due to him over the next 4 seasons. Beaubois is a team option from now on. And Marvin Williams is owed $16,887,500 over the next 2 years with an early termination option for 2013-2014.

So really I think Dallas is shedding payroll, which is smart, they dont need Haywood and his 'I am a starter in this league, look what I get paid' mentality. Along with picking up an athletic forward with no injured past.

Hawks get a true Center. Horford can now play PF. Hawks look alright:
J Nelson
J Johnson
?
Al Horford
B Haywood

Giraffes Rule
06-21-2011, 10:15 PM
The Hawks would be ****ing ******** to send Smith to the Magic. That just helps their division rival keep the best center in the league.

kenzo400
06-21-2011, 10:16 PM
You obviously do not know the Mavs the way you were talking!!!!

You might know more about the Mavs than i do, but i watched the same playoff games and i can tell you that Haywood was pretty inconsistent and pretty much dissapeared in the finals.

Roddy B played 28 games this season and didn't even play in the playoffs. It seems that they did pretty well without him.

And you said Marvin Williams has more potential than Roddy B and Haywood put together

I never said that. I said that Roddy B will never live up to his potential and Haywood is not going to get any better, he is 33 years old and his production is declining every year.

You are clueless, Marvin is a bum

You obviously know nothing. Marvin is a pretty efficient scorer (46% field) and has had limited touches. He is also an above average defender.

I'm shutting this down. It looks very much like that lady from CSN got this from this really weird twitter account...who has said that the report is basically wrong. Every person who actually seems to know the Magic (O-Sen writers) or Hawks say this is baloney.

Nothing here.

If you want to discuss where Josh Smith might be traded to, if he is traded, it can be done here.
