In news that will surprise no one, the Cleveland Cavaliers are committed to Kyrie Irving. According to ESPN, the Cavs asked around to see if the former Duke guard would fall to the 4th pick. After the Timberwolves and Jazz finished laughing at Cleveland officials, they came to the conclusion that he won't.

No surprises here.

Only if we knew what the Hell the Jazz will do at 3rd overall, it will shape the rest of the lottery for sure...

Who cares about the NBA Draft dnewguy?

LeBron James is all that matters!

But this was obvious. Irving has potential to be a star or a bust due to injuries.I say he will be a great starter for many years. Hopefully they can draft Enes Kanter at 4 although they really like Vesley.

06-20-2011, 06:08 PM
I think they need to trade up for Williams as well.

06-20-2011, 06:14 PM
Cavs actually dont like Vesley. They do like Jonas a bit though. Jonas or Kanter will be the pick at #4 if we keep it.

Personally I like a wingman like Kawhi Leonard or Tristan Thompson over either of the Euro guys.

I also hope the Cavs use the Trade Exception in some way to either get the #2 pick to take DWill or get the #2 pick to send it to Memphis in a deal for Rudy Gay.

This is a mistake. I still say they should go with Williams.

The Cavs are making a serious mistake by taking Kyrie Irving. Brandon Knight will end up being the best player in this draft... Irving has all the hype but Knight has all the game. You heard it here first...
