Hey guys, Some of you may remember that for the last three years I have conducted a poll at the end of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. Its is now that time to vote! I would like to start this up once more considering the NBA season is now over and we can get to this discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round. I have also included the results of those last 3 years so everyone can see how much things have changed...Enjoy.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

Here is a comparison of 12 players in the poll from last season.

J-Kidd. As good as it gets when it comes to defense, distribution, floor general and clutch plays. Very good rebounder, can hit the 3, consistent FT shooter and you can have him guard bigger players as well.

HAS to be TP here. He should have won the last one.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to be able to trust my PG in the last 2 minutes of a close game.

Parker has been very inconsistent these last few years and absolutely disappeared during the playoffs vs. Memphis. Maybe it's his nagging injuries, or maybe he's on the decline. I don't know. So instead of picking Parker, I went with Billups.

That makes no sense at all... Billups also disappeared in the playoffs because he was injured and didnt even play at all

Yes, Billups wasn't present during the Knicks-Celtics series because of his injuries. However, Parker was playing significant minutes while claiming he was healthy. Seriously, I was expecting a lot from Parker during this year's playoffs.

Were you expecting a repeat of his 09 Playoff play?

He actually scored more per game in the playoffs than he did in the regular season.

This one should be Parker.

For the next one I would say it's between Kidd and Curry.

Wall's inefficiency doesn't merit him to be in this discussion as of yet.

Why isn't Darren Colleson getting any love? He did a great job against Derrick Rose in the playoffs His young! When replacing CP3 when he went down two years ago, people started having 2nd thoughts on how good CP3 still was, because Colleson was going for 15+ pts and 10+ assists

Stephen Curry in 2011-2012 will be better than Tony Parker in 2011-2012. Especially if they get rid of Ellis. The fact that Kidd and Billups have more votes than Curry shows the lack of basketball IQ from some people. Since Curry doesn't play in a big market with many national televised games, Im not surprised most people haven't seen him play this past season.
Curry= underrated

Jason Kidd by a little over Tony Parker. Kidd won the ship, while Parker got bounced in round 1.

If it's a toss up to someone, yes, any little thing can be the tie breaker.

Barea or Holiday? I know one Mavs fan who'd say he'd take JJ over Holiday because he won a title.
