Post what your teams best team ever with players that played during any generation, the catch is you can pick players that were even past the prime of their career, like shaq can be on the all time celtics team and billups on the knicks. Then lets see what team would be best

Bulls
Pg-Derrick Rose
Sg-Michael Jordan
Sf-Scottie Pippen
Pf-Dennis Rodman
C-Robert Parish

6th-George Gervin
7th- Horace Grant
8th- Artis Gilmore
9th Jerry Sloan
10th- Ben Wallace

For now, yeah i'd probably have King over Melo actually..

I'd probably put the Bulls above the Knicks but other than that, i'd say that's about right.

Would it be fair for the Raptors to use Hakeem? Would it be ok for the Wizards to use a prime MJ? Or the Magic using Ewing?

I think it should only include players who've had their prime at that team...

your crazy, look at the bulls and knicks bench...

only the celtics and lakers have super deep benches of hall of famers and celtics have mostly guys who would get destroyed by modern players...do you think cousy and havlicek can do anything vs wade/payton or rose/mj...they were slow white shooters and cousy can only dribble with 1 hand...bill russell would get murdered by shaq so u might want to consider him a starter...celtics are being rated wayyy too high becuase of their history and hall of famers

and just because russells historical greatness is greater than shaqs doesnt make him a better player or give him the edge in a 1 on 1 matchup...prime russelll is a wirey 6'9' and prime shaq is 7'1" of brute force that would destroy him
Russell had the better historical greatness but we don't know how well he would've been against Shaq. That's why I'm going upon historical greatness because its hard to take players from one era and tell them to go up against players from another era.

...the celtics all time team should be

Nope it should be the one I posted before.

pre 80's players are no match for modern players
Like I said earlier in the post you can't compare two different era's on playing style. That's why I'm using historical greatness.

Lakers and its not even close

pg- magic(best pg ever)
sg-Kobe(2nd best sg ever)
sf-Baylor
Pf-Malone
C-Kareem(greatest C ever)
Bench
Pg-payton,van exel
Sg-west
Sf-worthy
Pf-Gasol
C-SHAQ(most dominant ever), Wilt

So you basically have 3 of the top 5 greatest ever as your starters(Kobe, magic, kaj)
Then you have west aka the logo
Malone(the gretest player to never win a ring)
Payton(possibly best defensive PG ever)
Shaq(most dominant ever)
Wilt(best of his time alongó with russell)
Gasol(very high basketball IQ will be a top 50 player when his career is over!
I can go on with the rest but im over it!

Lakers would beat anyone nuff' said
