What are some of the most random/unexpected stud performances you can think of?

Tony Delk - 1/2/2001: 53 points (20-27 FG, 13-15 FT)
Brandon Jennings - 11/14/2009: 55 points (21-34 FG), 7th career game
Brian Scalabrine - 5/14/2004 (Game 5 Eastern Conference Semis vs Detroit): 17 points (4-4 3Pt)
Ramon Sessions - 4/14/2008: 20 points, 24 assists, 8 rebounds

Sessions had a few...

I think Javale McGee with his 12 blocks, MAtt BArnes once had 36, 7, 5

Yea, Sessions has had some really good performances besides that. I just remember watching the Bulls game and seeing the Bulls getting torched by him and I was just thinking to myself who the hell is this guy. Nobody had even heard of him at the time

What about Morrow? I thought he had a 40 or 50 point game in the first week of his rookie season.

Gibson (Cavs).... After Lebron lit up the Pistons in game 5, he came out of nowhere helping them eliminate the pistons and get to the NBA finals.

I'm gonna say Kobe's 81. I know he's one of the best scorers ever, but did you think it was possible in the modern game to score that much, that ANYONE could score that much?

I was watching that game on TV and it literally blew my mind. How do you outscore the opposing TEAM through 3 quarters?!

Didn't Willie Burton go for 53 one game? Andre Miller going for 52 has to be up there. He's a good player, but I never expected him to score that much in a game

Ramon Sessions is a beast tho

He did it in like his 7th career start straight out of the D-League as a rookie. At the time it was crazy

Eddy Curry being the greatest 3pt shooter in NBA history is mind boggling to me.

Smush Parker and Ricky Davis combine for 65 points...

Wow that's unexpected

Larry Hughes went for 44 in a game against Denver in 2000.

C.J. Watson had a game where he scored 40 on 16/23 shooting. I can honestly say I didn't see that one coming.

Jason Terry lighting up the Heat in game 6. Who would've thought he would be the best player in the game?
