anytime you leave a championship contender you are gonna be criticized. Remember when shaq left the magic. Now he didnt get the hate that bron got. but trust me, it was there. shaq just had that personality that you couldnt stay mad at him for long. But yeah people were saying he doesn't care about winning, he only cares about making rap albums. They called him one dimensional. all he does is dunk. when the lakers were getting swept by the jazz, shaq got a lot of heat. but you know what, phil jackson came in. shaq worked on his game. he became an excellent passer out of the double teams. developed a baby hook. kobe became a superstar. rest is history.

well, LeBron was the only reason the Cavs were a fabricated "championship" contender. So him leaving was pretty much the contender part leaving.

In reality, anytime the assumed best player in a sport just can't win a championship, they will get heavy criticism. Jordan got it before he won, ARod suffered it big time before he won his, and the list continues.
