Miami is basically healthy...and besides games 5 both team won games by 3 points or fewer so with the Mavs missing one of their important piece in Butler, how would the series turn out if he was fully healthy?

I wouldnt say Miami is pretty much healthy... Miller and Haslem are no where near 100% and Wade has been questionable most of the playoffs...

And on the flipside... Marion has absolutely made up for Caron's absence on both ends of the court.

He was scoring at an inefficient rate for them but you've got to figure he helps them just by taking Stevensons minutes

except stevenson is shooting over 50% from the field and 3-point line and playing good defense...

Theyre chances would be better at winning. I dont see the point of all these "what if threads". Afterall, there are alot of what ifs, and obviousily the answer YES the outcome would be different if there was a "what if"

this could go either way. its not like he would be making a huge difference though. hed take away from stephenons mins and hes playing good d and shooting the lights out

He's a far more skilled version of Stevenson. But he's not as tough or as physical as Stevenson. You'd have to figure he'd suck playing time away from Stevenson and Marion, who are both playing very well.

In the big picture, Butler can definitely help this team. In this series, I wouldn't mess with what's working.

Miami lost game one and the series over in five if both Butler and haywood was good to go. Mavs bench were missing a few games.

Aberrations, if a horrible role player can go on a decent stretch what do you think a former all star can do?

Both have experience defending Bron, IIRC Butler did a much better job on Bron and was given the job late in the game over Deshawn.

What if Dwyane Wade hadn't hurt his hip last game, where would the series be now?

"Tough Juice" himself isn't as tough or physical as Stevenson? Are you serious?

Caron would definitely help this Mavs team but Stevenson and Marion have been playing good as well.
