Ok, we have so many arguments about which player is better. My question thinking of a team...which combination of players do you guys feel would create the all time greatest team in nba history.

PG: Magic Johnson - doesn't need to score but can..great defender
2nd: stockton - all time assists leader this team needs a guy to distribute

SG: Reggie Miller - can stop of shoot from anywhere
2nd Ray Allen - love ray ray i just like reggie more

SF: Jordan - nuf said
2nd Lebron - great passer, great d

PF: Duncan - Mr. fundamental the offense could run through him or jordan
2nd Dennis Rodman - want someone defensive minded on this team

C : Shaq - can play off of duncan and dunk the ball
2nd Hakeem - great shot, great post game

Coach: Phil Jackson
2nd : Pat riley

lol, Magic was a great defender? Jordan SF?

If we are trying to build a team and not just stockpile guys:

Walt Frazier
MJ
Lebron
Dirk
Hakeem

ridiculous defense at the 1-2-3, unselfish PG and SF with the GOAT at SG..........best shooting PF of all time to spread the floor and the Dream who outside of Russel is arguably the best defensive C of all time and is no slouch on the other end

Damn I miss 90s basketball :(

Jordan
Miller
Barkley
The Dream
The Admiral
Stockton/Malone
Pippen
The Bad Boys
Gary Payton
Shawn Kemp
Nique
Ewing
Shaq
Dikembe

Seriously 90s playoff basketball was soooo much fun to watch because it was so physical....

Bulls v Knicks
Indiana v Knicks
Bulls v Indiana
Heat v Knicks

There were some amazing playoff games in the 90s :(

PG- Magic Johnson
SG M.J.
SF Bird
PF Bill Russell
C Shaq
Bench- LeBron, Dirk, Kareem, Gary Payton, and Kobe Bryant.

That team would probably go 82-0 in any era.

My focus is not necessarily the best ever at each position but a starter and backup on a team that could actually play together....most of the team would be guys I would consider the best and/or second best at there position but focus is on actually being able to play together.

PG: Magic Johnson
backup - Stockton

SG: Jordan
backup - George Gervin

SF: Larry Bird
backup - Dr. J.

PF: Duncan
backup - Bob Pettit

C : Wilt
backup - Hakeem

PG: Kidd/Magic - probably take **** for this but I'd rather have Kidd's defense and let him be a shooter with the first unit, then let Magic come in with the second unit and take over a heavy scoring burden

SG: Jordan/R. Allen - Jordan is obvious but I like Allen over Kobe with the second unit so he can use that sweet shot while Magic does the bulk of the penetrating and scoring

SF: Bird/Lebron - again, I like shooters around Michael. I'd use Lebron as a defensive stopper and primary scorer on the second unit.

PF: Duncan/Garnett - can't go wrong with either, and there's not much of a discussion of anyone being better than them. It'd be fun to see Lebron, Garnette, and Hakeem share the floor defensively.

C: Hakeem/Kareem - the 2 best, enough said. There's enough offense on this team to where I don't feel like I need Shaq in the post. All four of my post players are very competent offensively.

Coach: Riley

I find it funny that the same people who claimed they love tr physicality of the 90s are te same fans that complain about not getting ticky tacky calls
