Jay had done a solid job of keeping his team competative and developing young players. ITs a sad thing to see him go, but im happy that he is still apart of the raptors organization, just in a different role. I think he needed a bit longer of a chance to prove that he was a good coach. Raptors should now hire brian shaw, reciprocating a championship caliber offense would do them well.

He always cared about defense. The players, just werent good enough defensivly to execute what he wanted. When your interior defender in the post is bargnani, you really are going to give up a lot of points.

no he didn't. he never held players accountable and his defensive schemes sucked. i'm not saying our crap defense is all on him, but he was definitely apart of it.

Even if his schemes did suck, he still Gave a **** about defense and got after players at times. I Agree, the coach is partially to blame. The team doesnt have strong defenders as well.

Just texted a source close to Colangelo and D'Antoni about a possible Phoenix reunion, and reply came an emphatic, "No." Stay tuned.

well, hopefully BC has a trick up his sleeve to bring in a coach who has coaching experience this time.
