Simply what it states. I, for a long time, have considered Haslem is as the best role player in the game. I thought, the only way the Heat would win the ECF would be on Haslem's back. Still, Collison is doing work against Dirk, much like Haslem did. Anyway, I think they're both very very good at staying within their element and working hard.

Haslem because he gives Miami that legit 6th man that they've been lacking all year.

Right now I'd take Haslem. Even Bonner has looked good defending Dirk before. I think Haslem is useful in more situations than Collison.

Come to think about it, I'd rather have Collison on the Spurs since defending Dirk is a more important job than a bench rebounder/energy guy right now. Kind of have that in Blair anyways... Still, in general I'd rather have a Haslem.

I went with Haslem because he means more to the Heat than Collison to the Thunder IMO.

Haslem...no contest. He is just off alot of radars because of the injuries. But minus the lack of production this year he is the best.

Nick Collison without a doubt

This is a tough one, i think they are close to even in alot of areas but i have to go with Nick, he's a more versatile defender, as evidence the job he's done against dirk, Haslem's mid range is money but Nick can knock done that shot just as consistently, he just doesnt get the opportunities.

Nick for sure, but homer Heat fans will tilt the vote in Haslem's favour.

They both bring heart and good game to their teams. I knew Haslem had it in him, but Collison has shown me he can ball.

Collison. He has better offense. Plays just as much defense. Boards are just about equal. Haslem means more to the Heat because they have just about a roster full of nobodies outside of the big three. Your 6th man is a toss up between Chalmers and Miller. Give me Collison slightly. Haslem brings a toughness that the heat needs because Bosh doesn't have that banger mentality.

How exactly does he bring more offense?

seeing as most of you didnt watch the heat last season, when it was clear haslem did the dirty work, the rebounding when it was needed, getting the 50/50 balls every time its not right for you to judge this yet. because before lebron and bosh came, we only got on national tv when we played the lakers, cavs, or in the playoffs.

haslem by far. he is a starting talent when fully healthy.

I will take James Harden in 2-3 years as a role player. Guy is ok defensively and just destructive when the ball is in his hands shooting.

Im biased, but Haslem is a baller none the less. His grit, toughness, jumper, loyalty, rebounding, hustle means the world to us Heat fans.

Haslem means too much for me to give Collison a fighting chance.

Nick's reagl good though.

Haslem easily. I mean no disrespect to Collison, but I don't think other teams view him as a threat at all.

who's Collison?

OK, I know who Collison is but he's nowhere near Haslem.
