Around 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter Rose defended a jump shot from James and pulled his arms way back rather than defend and James made the basket - I don't know alot about basketball, but at that time of the game Rose didn't need to avoid fouling - would somebody please find this play and comment? I replayed it over and over on my DVR astounded at how D Rose retreated... And then I lost it on my DVR so I am not sure as to the exact time, it was just before a commercial around 4 minutes left.

Pretty sure he had 4 fouls at that point...I do think the NBA is fixed to an extent, but that is a bad example

Don't think it is fixed, but I do believe games are called a certain way to keep certain games and series close. Like I think last season's Boston vs LA series was called a certain way so that it would go 7 and bring in the ratings and cash.

JordansBulls I agree about the idea of ratings and referees calling a game a certain way, but this play seemed like a player (D Rose) giving away a basket - and I am a Bulls fan by the way!

Bad Defense ≠ Fixed League

Bumping to beg somebody to watch the play and comment on it specifically - is a player in on the fix? Please, somebody?

Frankly you are either dumb, no offense, or just trying to bait.

The NBA is fixed, but there is literally no way the players could be in on it.

I swear I am not trying to bait, I watched the game alone, D Rose pulled his hands behind his head with his elbows still out.

The NBA has been fixed since 84! I have said this before... MJ came into the league in 84 and averaged 10+ FTA per game... AS A ROOKIE!!!

Is the NBA fixed? Tim Donaghy. Nuff said. I'm not saying today's game was fixed but there's no denying that refs have their own agendas.

Thanks iced, so do you think our special D Rose has now been taught to act?

The replies in this thread merit for this thread to be closed. Also, there's a game thread for this game where you can post all your comments about the game, this helps the forum from getting cluttered with a bunch of threads.

Thanks.
