The NBA has already release a Mock Draft

http://www.nba.com/2011/news/features/05/18/consensus.mock.draft/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt1

Most of the big men that appear in the top 12: European!

Thoughts on potential picks? Who need who? Who will be a steal. And whose game will translate to immediate impact in the NBA?

I think the Cavs should take Williams at one and get Knight at four. But ESPN is going to make Irving the top pick.

Not done with it though. Im undecided on many picks.

Im confident on the lotto picks, but everything else is iffy.

First off, the Cavaliers, or any team for that matter, would never draft two pure point guards in the top five picks. Cavaliers do need a point guard and Kyrie Irving is the best draft choice for any team, but their situation is different. They need to figure out the best two picks they can make in the top five. Derrick Williams and Brandon Knight is a much better skill combination then Kyrie Irving and whomever else they would take instead of Knight at the fourth pick. I feel Kanter has ridiculous upside, but you have to fill needs. When you need a point guard and a wing player that is what you draft. When you have two starting big men already why make them useless by drafting Kanter.

I'd rather Bobcats take Thompson over Marcus Morris

I want the Pistons to take Tristan Thompson. I think he could be a real solid player for us.

I wonder if he and Monroe can co-exist? If so...:speechless:

This draft is crazy. Every mock site has a drastically different 3-30.

Get ready to come off the bench Baron.

Even though this is a weak draft. The Cavs have a great chance here to completely reshape their future. Not only with the draft but also a smart trade or two using that trade exception could put them right on track to being relevant again.

I can honestly see the Cavs getting that 2nd overall pick too.

Khan said its available and I'm sure the Cavs can use their TPE to get a good player then trade that player to the Wolves.

How does it make any sense to have Cleveland drafting Irving AND Knight?? That would mean they would have those 2 plus Davis, Sessions and Gibson at point. Doesn't make sense at all. Kemba to the Wiz also doesn't make sense. I think it would be wisest for the Cavs to take Williams first and Knight 4th. Best skill combo over Irving and whoever else they would take. I just hope my Raps can walk away with either Kanter or Knight at the end of the night.

i totally agree with you, this would be there best cause sinario, i think knight will be there at 4 and i really like both picks for them

I mean, the Jazz will probably pick up Irving, but he could actually Slip to 4 if no one trades up to get him. I mean, The cavs could steal this draft by playing shrewdly and going for broke by getting Williams 1st and hoping no one takes Irving 2nd/3rd.

Utah wouldn't pass on Irving, but I agree with the strategy.

I like the Jazz's position at 3.

Yea, most likely they would take him. But then you get Knight/Walker.

lol @ the Cavs taking the top two point guards. Whoever wrote this is a frickin' idiot.

Edit: Drew Packham, wherever you are, quit your job, immediately.

I don't think the drop off in talent between Knight and Irving is as great as people make it out to be. Williams #1 and Knight #4 would be a great draft for the Cavs.

The one draft is a "consensus" mock draft where they took the avg draft position from many people (much like in fantasy football rankings)

Only one of the dozen or so guys actually had cavs taking both PGs (however even one person thinking that is a moron)
